Based in Sale, Cheshire - Cheshire Wags (Wash and Groom Service), is a mobile dog grooming salon. We will come to your door and groom your dog on, or close to, your own premises entirely within our own van.
We are veterinary-trained, City and Guilds standard and also registered to micro-chip and scan. We regularly attend technique and development seminars to continually improve our skills and service. Our aim is to provide the best grooming service for your dog, with the least disturbance to you.

Services
The grooming service follows a similar pattern for each dog. On arrival, the dog is checked for abrasions, lesions, matting or skin conditions and a dated consent form will need to be signed, detailing the grooming and finish required. Data records will be kept to ensure all grooming procedure notes are retained for the ongoing care of your dog and for subsequent visits.
My Pomeranian, Larry, is the family's best friend, and valuable in more ways than one, so we wouldn't hand him over to just anyone for grooming. After trying several grooming services, none of which were very satisfactory, we tried Cheshire Wags on the recommendation of a close friend.
Gilly arrived promptly in her van, plugged a long cable into our hall electric socket, took Larry into the van for grooming and did a great job of making him look 'just like new again'.All so effortless and no round trips in the rain to a disappointing salon. I would highly recommend Gilly's grooming service to all dog owners who care deeply about their dog's well-being.

We can be contacted between 9am and 5pm Tuesday to Friday and will be very happy to discuss your dog's needs, your own concerns, to explain how we operate and answer any questions regarding pricing. Please be aware we may be grooming, so please leave a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we're free.
A: Pick up the phone or send us an email. It's a good idea to discuss with the groomer what you would like doing before making the appointment especially if it's your dog's first time. A: Just an electricity point and your dog! Please ensure your dog has been fed, watered and toileted before grooming.

Gilly used to groom our cairn Terrier Joey (no longer with us) and he really loved her and enjoyed the attention the groom would give him. he would look SO different afterwards and we were amazed at Gilly's knowledge of how he should be groomed and the options we had. Now we have a puppy called Smithy who seriously does not like wet clothes or hairdryers!! But Gilly is wonderful with him! For the service you get, the cost is very reasonable and you can be sure your dog is in good hands.
