We are in the North West of England close to the town of Wilmslow in Cheshire and are easily accessible to Manchester Airport and the motorway network. My Grandmother Jess founded the kennels and cattery in 1948 since then the business has continually developed to provide up to date amenities and accommodation.

We are a family owned and run business offering boarding for cats, dogs and small animals, dog grooming, dog spa and onsite pet shop. Based in the North West of England, close to the town of Wilmslow in Cheshire we are easily accessible to Manchester Airport and the motorway network. A happy pet is a healthy pet.
Over the last 50 years Newgate Kennels and Cattery have grown from one employee, the founder Jess Millett, to a workforce of over 30 employees. To allow you to find out more about how Newgate has progressed over the years we have compiled a timeline of the most significant events throughout our history.
Not only were we awarded, "The North West's National Apprentice Award for Small Business 2013" but we were also included in the list of 100 best apprenticeship employer's in the country. The ceremony took place in Manchester and the award was presented by the record producing legend Pete Waterman. Pictured with Pete are Lucy and Joel and from Lite Ltd (our training provider) Jackie Shopland-Reed.
We now intend using Newgate in the future to care for our cats. We are so impressed Ruby and Jamie were happy when we collected them it was obvious they had been well cared for. What a relief to have found a cattery that we have confidence in. Thank you to all the staff at Newgate''. The staff is exceptional and Bailie loves going to Newgate.
