Services
Generations of our family have lived in Wharfedale and we think it's one of the most beautiful valleys in the UK. Having created a successful camping and glamping site at Catgill Farm in Bolton Abbey, we were over the moon to take over Howgill Lodge Campsite which is just 5 miles further into the valley.
Our timber lodges have been perfectly designed for a truly memorable stay. Each lodge has 2 bedrooms, shower room, large open plan kitchen, diner and lounge with a cast iron log burner and feature window with outstanding views. Each has been creatively decorated with a modern country theme using fabric sourced from our local mill shop including comfy sofas, cushions and throws.
Our timber lodges have been uniquely designed inside and out, creating an unrivalled glamping experience! Each of our 4 lodges have a brand new interior design with a high quality, luxury finish, offering supreme comfort. Sleeping up to 6 people and featuring a large open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a cast Iron log burner and far reaching views out of the patio doors, our aim was to create the very best holiday accommodation.
If you can't wait to start your luxury glamping holiday then book our early check in, which allows you to arrive 2 hours before the usual check in time of 3:30 pm. Be sure to book early as we only have limited availability for this option. Our friends at Love Brownies bake award winning brownies are right next door to the Campsite.
If you want a peaceful, relaxing and truly back to nature getaway then look no further than Howgill Lodge. With terraced pitches set amongst the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales, Howgill is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Wharfedale. Offering electric and non-electric pitches, we can accommodate tents, motorhomes, caravans and campervans.

A lovely family-owned and run campsite in Barden, near to the Yorkshire town and villages of Skipton, Grassington and Ilkley which is easy to get to.
The site is terraced with hard standing for touring caravans with electrical hook-up and motorhomes whilst tents are happily pitched on the lower grass terraces. There are also static caravans. All units are relatively shielded from wind and rain by trees. There are clean and excellent showering and cleaning facilities with a shop selling fresh eggs, milk, bacon, newspapers and general provisions whilst also providing laundry services. The site is
