Ellisons is owned and operated by the original founder's grandsons, Mike and Andy Magowan, who over the years have expanded the business to the extent that it is one of the leading coach companies in the UK. We are based in the town of St Helens, in the North West of England; however, coaches are available throughout the UK.
We are a well established family business, founded in the 1920's by the current Director's Grandfather. Back then, the converted coal trucks would transport company employees from St Helens to Blackpool for their summer outing.
The Company was taken into the 20th Century by Stan Magowan, who was awarded an MBE for his services to the travel industry and he expanded the car and coach side of the business, as well as opening a travel agents in 1961, when he couldn't find the right holiday for his honeymoon!In the 1960's, Ellisons became the official team vehicle for Liverpool Football Club, a client that is still retained today, through quality and service.

Premiership vehicles are tabled vehicles, with kitchens, ovens, sockets, Sky TV, Wifi and some have Bose sound. As stylish as the Premiership vehicles, with leather interiors, some with tea and coffee making facilities, but without tables and kitchens. Corporate vehicles are still impressive, with seating for up to 53, which makes them ideal for moving large groups, particularly useful for conferences and business.
Exceptional vehicles named after our Premiership clients. Bespoke interiors designed to the highest quality, which are perfect for Corporate Hospitality. Seating up to 36 depending on the layout, each vehicle has a slightly different configuration. Most of these vehicles have a kitchen at the back, so it is out of the way of your guests.
Our Corporate range is very similar to our Premiership Range, they have almost the same high specification inside. The main difference being they are straight-seated, with no tables, making it ideal for Corporate events with larger numbers. The great thing about the vehicles in the Corporate Coach Range, is that they carry far more people than the Premiership vehicles, as they seat up to 55 people.

The coach driver that tried to run me off the road. Apparently he was in a bigger vehicle so I should let him, then got out his cab with a pair of invisible suitcases under each arm because I took pictures. Was very unprofessional shouldn’t be in charge of a shopping trolley. Oh and the little man left his invisible suitcases next to my van.

Ellisons Travel Coach Hire is a national company that covers the UK. We have used them on a few occasions when going to Southampton to pick up cruise ship and on each occasion we could not fault them. They take care of your luggage with no problems and their drivers are polite, friendly and attentive to your requirements. Their coaches are modern and well equipped. They are all very safe drivers as well. A great coach company we would be happy to use again.

I’m a regular traveller with this company with work and I can’t fault the service they provide.Reliable transport with great coaches that are kept in great condition! Also a very trustworthy service as I had left my tablet on the coach and it was handed it and got it back within days! Would highly recommend.

I reported dangerous driving exhibited by a driver for this company, sent an email and tried to call too to give my feedback and report my concerns. I have heard nothing back from this company, despite plenty of times and opportunities for them to do so. Poorly trained staff or staff that aren't held accountable for unsafe driving is a concern for me, as well as very poor customer service. Be forewarned.

We took coach to Southampton with our sister in wheelchair 4th Aug till 11th Aug.
I have to say i can't recommend this company enough.
They were totally amazing .very helpful cheery ¬hing was any trouble for them.
Will certainly use them again .drivers constantly asking if people were ok or needed anything .

We hired one of the corporate coaches for a trip to the rugby in Cardiff as the cost of accommodation was crazy and the train tickets from London were nearly £200 per head. The cost of the coach was very competitive in comparison and is really a first class services We hired a coach with 36 seats which had wifi,sat tv, leather seats and a full galley where we prepared food and ate like royalty in what can only be described as the best coach I have ever been on. It had a toilet and a coffee machine and was the most relaxing journey I have ever had getting to a rugby match especially as we were
