Services
Our Mercedes Benz powered coaches are the most modern fleet on the Fylde as they are all under six years old. They run with environmentally friendly Euro 5 & 6 engines and, as we provide 16, 29, 33, 34, 49 and 53 seater vehicles, you can choose the one best for your needs. Coaches are also equipped with air conditioning, reclining seats with armrests and many other extras.
Lancashire County Council will revise and extend this service, adjusting the route between Kirkham and Poulton to operate via Weeton and Singleton, replacing the revised Service 75 over this section, as well as extending the route through to St. Annes from Lytham, serving Clifton Drive Hospital.
This revised service will operate between St. Annes and Blackpool via Lytham, Warton, Wrea Green, Kirkham, Weeton, Singleton, Poulton, and Victoria Hospital.The service will operate every hour from Monday to Saturday daytime. In conjunction with Service 78, the frequency between St. Annes, Lytham, and Kirkham, over common sections, will increase to two journeys per hour from Monday to Saturday daytime.

Fuming...my daughter paid her fare cash on the 78 in St Anne's but her freinds didn't realise they dont take cards. The driver then refused to refund my daughters fare leaving her with no money to get on another bus then rather than give her chance to make a descision wether to stay on the bus on her own or stay with her freinds he drove away. 12 year old stranded in St Anne's...disgusting

Got the 10:52 number 78 bus this morning to Kirkham. I said Good Morning to the driver .. no answer so I repeated Good Morning .. he replied. “ Is this a guessing game do you want me to guess where you are going” . My oh my what a very rude driver he was. I thought being a driver it would come with atleast a bit of a personality. We all have a bit of a bad day but my oh my Mr Grump was very very miserable.

Unreliable bus service. Waited for the 7.51 bus this morning. Didn't stop and flew past. So, going to miss my train.
Not the first time I've had a problem with Coastal Coaches. On a few occasions, I've rang the bell for the coastal coach bus to stop at the next stop and they haven't stopped at my requested stop.

Wow what a horrible little man who was driving the coach.
Asked him politely to move the coach that was on double yellow lines & blocking my drive on a very busy main road ( happens nearly every day ) and he just sneered at me.
A few minutes later I asked him again as I had to leave for the school run - he said he would do it when he could ( maybe when he finished looking at his phone )
He then reversed it slightly but still causing a major obstruction that would have left me at a severe risk of harming myself and others by pulling out totally blinded which he thought was funny.

A group of us - all elderly enjoyed our day out at Windermere two weeks ago, but the return journey was spoiled by Coastal Coaches of Warton driver driving much too fast through narrow roads and having to seriously brake on the M55 due to speeding - scary! Would not go again.
I have contacted the firm TWICE via Email, and after 10 days they haven’t even bothered to acknowledge my complaint.

I have used the No 78 bus twice this week and had terrible experiences both times. On Wednesday 30th August I got the 07:39 No 78 from Lytham Square and because I only had a note rather than the exact change I was told to go to a shop to get some change. Surely, Coastal Coaches have heard of the revolutionary concept of a 'float' which has been in use in commerce since before the Middle Ages? This morning, 1st September, I again got the 07:39 No 78 from Lytham Square and had just bought a coffee from Costa Coffee which was secure in my travel mug with a lid. I was told I could not get on the bus
