Would of been 5 stars if I had just been rating the warm welcome we got upon arrival and the very nice campsite facilities. The washers and dryers were very reasonable prices and the toilets and showers always seemed clean when we went in to use them. Also the views were beautiful and the closeness to Bala was great for us.
However we did have a few issues with the spot we were given to camp in.
Due to us needing an electrical hook up we were placed at the top of a steep hill which definitely wasn't fun to sleep on, our EHU was on the other side of a bush which shortened the reach of our cables

We camped here with my son and 2 grandsons. The pitches were flat with plenty of space. There was room for the boys to play football and practice their golf chips. The owners were very helpful with tape for a tent repair and freezing our ice packs. The toilet block was imaculate with free hot showers. The owner checked regularly to make sure everything was ok with campers and asked one group to lower the volume of their music in the evening. There were blocks avalable for BBQs. It is a very peaceful site in beautiful surroundings. There is not a shop on site but the town of Bala is in easy driving

We tented up here, field was flat, green and fairly quiet for a bank holiday weekend. Full 4g signal, Bala Town 5 minutes away and campsite is central for activities in the North and Central Wales. Staff and locals very friendly and campsite is cheap.
Facilities are dated, they are kept clean but hard to tell against the decor. Showers are lovely and warm so cannot complain. Would definitely visit again however.
