If you are tired of Fleur de Lys and chandeliers and are looking for a bridal experience with a difference, then Heritage Brides could be the place you are looking for. We are nestled in the exclusive location of Hatfield House - yes, the Hatfield House where Elizabeth I grew up.
There is nothing better than discovering an email from a Heritage Bride with an attachment. Because it usually means that they have sent me some images from their wedding day. It never ceases to amaze me how creative my brides are and I never grow tired of seeing the photos. Heritage Brides likes to be transparent about how much our gowns, shoes and accessories cost. That's why we are one of the only boutiques to quote the price you will pay. We hope that we have a range of gowns in a range of prices which are suitable for all types of brides. Remember though that if you decide on extras such as belts or shrugs, then these will have a separate price which might not be quoted on the website.

The experience at Heritage Brides was nothing short of magical and by far and away the best experience I had trying on dresses. From the quirky fun decor to the stunning collection of dresses, it was a joy from start to finish. Sam expertly guided me through the process and helped me narrow down my choices. She was an absolute super star. If you are thinking of booking a bridal appointment here, do not hesitate. You will not regret it!

Cannot rate Heritage Brides high enough, everything about the boutique is amazing from the decorations to the dresses to Sam who runs the boutique and is so knowledgeable and lovely. Sam has a great technique for helping you narrow down which dress you love the most which is not easy considering how many amazing dresses there are in store! Sam made the experience fun letting me try on so many different dresses and accessories. There was no hard sell and we had the boutique to ourselves for the whole time. Absolutely 5 stars, now counting down until I can pick my dress up in a few months!

Wow, what a beautiful shop! I absolutely loved my time here. Nothing was too much trouble and there is a brilliant selection of dresses. It was lovely to have the whole place to myself during the appointment and Sam was welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heritage Brides.

Truly magical experience!
I didn't think I was the kind of bride who would enjoy shopping for a wedding dress as I am not a huge fan of shopping generally. What I didn't bank on was finding Sam and Heritage Brides. It was an incredible experience and I loved every minute!
The shop itself is beautiful. The moment you walk in, there's this sense of calm and excitement bubbling through. Then the door is closed and you have a one-on-one appointment with Sam - who is a LEGEND. Sam made me feel completely at ease, and listened to the requirements i was looking for. We then went through the dresses

I really enjoyed my experience at Heritage Bridges!
Sam was very welcoming, and only one bride is consulted at a time in the store so it's a very personal experience. The store is filled with so many beautiful dresses, in every style you could imagine.
I didn't know what kind of dress I was looking for and Sam was incredibly helpful in narrowing down the styles that I liked most and suited my body shape.
I would definitely recommend Heritage Brides.

Where do I even begin!
2 months before my wedding I found out the original dress I purchased (from a different shop) was ruined. I contacted Sam in a bit of a stress and that was honestly the best decision I made throughout the whole wedding planning process. Sam is literally an angel. She calmed me down and promised me she would get me down the aisle in a dress I loved, she went above and beyond to achieve this and I ended up loving my dress from her more than my original dress.
Her seamstress Wendy also deserves a shout out as she amended a dress so that it was 2 sizes smaller for me.

Beautiful dresses in a wonderful setting. The barn is big and bright and it was lovely to see all of the photos of real brides on the wall.
I really enjoyed by time with Sam at Heritage Brides. She put me at ease instantly and struck the right balance between following my brief and thinking outside of the box so that I could try on as many styles as possible. She was creative when it came to possible alteration options without over promising. I would strongly recommend a visit.

Both Sam and Wendy are fabulous and I could not of wished for a better experience when buying my wedding dress. Sam quickly understood the style and fit I was after for my destination wedding. Wendy made it fit like a dream. It traveled well to our Italian wedding and I cant wait to wear it again for our uk party. If you need a helpful and understanding wedding dress shop, this is the place to go.

The thought of stepping into a bridal shop initially terrified me - I pictured an intimidating set up with various members of staff staring at me, and I wasn't looking forward to it at all. I stumbled across Heritage Brides after finding that they stocked the beautiful Wtoo range, and soon discovered that Sam's boutique was nothing like I had imagined.
The boutique itself is a huge, beautiful converted stable in the beautiful grounds of Hatfield House, decorated with bunting and twinkling fairy lights, with a warm and welcoming feel to it.
Sam herself was incredible. She knew each of her dresses
