Latham House Medical Practice has been serving the market town of Melton Mowbray and the surrounding area for 89 years and our aim is to offer high quality General Practice services and involve patients' in decisions and choice in their care. We provide as many services as possible to our patients from a wide range of clinicians at our premises.
We are proud to be unique and are able to offer patients some surgical procedures at our Practice including vasectomies, dermatology, ENT and Musculoskeletal services. We encourage our clinicians to have specialist areas of interest and we still believe the best services we can offer to patients is by doctors holding registered lists so that patients can forge long-lasting relationships with the doctor of their choice.

Your Doctor will now text you your blood test results routinely if you have registered your mobile phone number with us. Your result will be sent to the mobile number provided on your record. Unfortunately, we are unable to add details of the test or who the result relates to. Please bear this in mind if your number is shared with someone else or does not belong to you.
Care Navigation is a tried and tested model of care that improves access to primary care services for patients and reduces GP pressures all in one. It allows front line staff to provide patients with more information about local health and wellbeing services, both within and outside of primary care, in a safe, effective way.
NHS England in line with the 111 service have produced a useful booklet for parents (and older children) and deals with common infections in children who are normally healthy. It is not meant for children who have ongoing health problems such as asthma, heart, or kidney problems. You should not rely on the advice in this leaflet for children who are less than 3 months old.
The Exercise Referral Scheme is a 12 week programme of personalised physical activity support for people with specific health conditions. In order to access the Exercise Referral Scheme, clients must be referred by a healthcare practitioner.
