Services
We are a small nursery with registration for 38 children, we have a loyal trustworthy team of staff, some who have worked with us since we opened 14 years ago. Our registration being for a small number of children means in our opinion a higher standard of care at all times. We have a very low turnover of staff ensuring good consistent relations between staff, children, parents and carers.
Irene's main responsibility is running the baby room at Puddleduck. She provides a simulating atmosphere that promotes learning through play. Irene has always wanted to work with children and has completed SVQ Level 3 in Children's Care Learning and Development. Irene excellent listening skills, combined with her enthusiasm to work with children, ensure that children are able to develop the skills they need.
At Puddleduck nursery the space matches the child. Our spacious and airy baby room is bathed in natural light and is an ideal space for your baby to grow and play. Whether your children choose to play in the sensory area or would rather some quiet time, their perfect space awaits. Your baby will be given its own personalised learning journal to record their special developments so you don't miss a thing.

Recently changed my sons nursery to Puddleduck nursery and his behavior is different from the last one. He comes home happy, really good mood every time and looks forward to it in the morning. I was expecting it as he didn’t react this way at all with primrose nursery. I’m glad we followed our gut and changed him over to Puddle Duck. Irene and Team, thank you!

The price is different each month and getting higher depends on the days of that month. there was no partnership with the council to help us with the price as other nurseries when I was there, I don't know about now. I stayed with them for 6 months or less I don't remember exactly, and I stopped going there because one day they do not let my son to… enter the nursery which is very annoying behavior he returned home crying because he saw his friends in and the responsible there Karen insisted that he must pay the price for the next month before he can come to the nursery and she was talking

The staff are fantastic, and I feel absolutely secure in leaving my son there. The premises are lovely and clean, and there's lots of space for the wee ones to play. I get updates everyday on how he has been, and they are always happy to see us. Although we are only in 1 day a week, we are often invited to join them on off days to take part in big activities (such as when Paw Patrol came to visit!). Cannot rate them highly enough :)
