Located in the heart of the West End of Glasgow, HEADSTART NURSERY offers quality child-care and pre-school education to children from the ages of 6 weeks up to 5 years. Our establishment follows the "3-to-5yr" and "birth-to-three" curriculum for nursery education in Scotland, as well as encouraging participation in a wide variety of musical and sporting activities.
We regularly work with Enjoy-a-Ball, ball skills specialists for children, and Colourstrings Music Kindergarten. This integrated and stimulating programme is designed to enhance your child's learning and social skills, in a relaxed and secure atmosphere, with a particular focus on active play and physical development.

Your child will quickly settle in comfortably to the nursery routine. To keep you fully informed of your child's activities and well-being, you will be handed a report sheet at the end of every nursery session.
Throughout the day, staff note down which toys were played with; activities in which your child was involved (tumbletots, music and dance, storytime, painting, outings to local parks/museums) toiletting progress; lunch/snack food eaten; nap times.A Nursery Registration Form is obtainable from Nursery staff.
