Rainbows was the first private nursery to be established in Salford and we are proud to have welcomed the children of countless families through our doors since 1986 - some of whom are still in touch with us now and are coming back to do their work experience, college placements and even now as parents themselves, bringing their own children back to us.
Choosing the right nursery for your child is such a hard decision and here at Rainbows we want every child to have the. We are proud to have a diverse team of staff who are all highly committed to the nursery and giving each child the best possible start in life.

5* - My son changed over to rainbows just over a year ago and has loved it. The staff are great and he's made a few good friends. They are extra accomadating when it comes to adding extra days and very kind and professional. He will be sad to leave in September.
5* - My son went to rainbows from 8 months until 3 years old at one of the hardest times of leaving my child to go back to work they made it so easy and a happy time, my son developed and learnt so much even down to spanish lessons this has even been noticed at his first few days at primary nursery, after attending rainbows the transition to primary school has been so easy with no tears.

Welcome to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is how the Government and early years professionals describe the time in your child's life between birth and age 5. This is a very important stage as it helps your child get ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes.
Our youngest children spend their time together in our open plan Raindrop Room on a ratio of at least 1 member of staff to every 3 children. Young children need to feel emotionally secure to be able to explore and begin to make sense of the world around them so we work closely with you from the start to develop an individualised care plan and your child will have a key person from day one to help them to settle in gradually.
