Services
Each child deserves to have a special relationship with someone within the nursery and the key person approach effectively celebrates this. It provides you and your child with a sense of security. Developing a secure bond with their key person allows them to explore and play freely but feel safe within the environment.
Tiny Steps prides itself on the collaborative approach between parent and setting on the child's learning and development. Each child will be allocated a member of staff known to the parent and child as your child's "Key Person" they will have knowledge and understanding on how children learn and develop and will have the unique understanding of what your child's currents interests and needs are.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a play-based curriculum for children from birth to five years, which allows children to explore and learn in an environment that is secure and safe, yet challenging. Play opportunities are non-stereotypical and available to all children promoting the teaching and learning from a skilled workforce.
Starting school is an important milestone for every child and their parents. At Tiny Steps we believe that when children leave our nursery to embark on the next chapter in their lives we must do all we can to support and celebrate this transition, ensuring the children are well prepared for the next stage in their learning.
We will ensure your first few months in nursery are as personal and seamless as possible. The manager Anne and deputy manager have a disgusting attitude, I was there for a show around and as you do ask questions and my question was about the settling in process, they were unwilling to listen and made me feel awful. I am a parent afterall and this is my precious child and because I simply questioned their process politely, I was told " find another nursery, I couldn't beliieve the way they spoke to me and both had different responses to my questions, it didn't instil confidence in me, seemed like they didn't know what they were talking about. Besides that I actually liked the nursery

Fantastic nursery! My eldest went there until he started school, and it gave me the peace of mind to place his baby brother at just 7months! I wouldn’t have done that anywhere else, but I walked through the baby room at Tiny steps every morning for 3 years, and have always been amazed by how the babies are happy there :)

The nursery, as a whole, is absolutely fantastic. It has all the facilities and resources to help young kids achieve their potential early on and the staff are absolutely on point with what they do with the kids. I would definitely recommend anyone who has children and want them to start getting on their two feet and take 'tiny steps' forward for a bright future - Tiny Steps Nursery is the place to go for.

I just want to say what a brilliant nursery Tiny Steps is. My daughter is absolutely smitten with the staff and I cannot fault her. They go above and beyond for not only my daughter but for myself and my partner also. We could not wish for better support, especially from the manager Anne. Thank you for helping my daughter to grow, learn and have fun.

I highly recommend this amazing nursery. I am a nurse at the Manchester Royal infirmary. We joined the nursery during the lockdown as my nursery closed. A college suggested Tiny Steps to us as that's where her little boy goes. We are so happy with the childcare provided, the staff are very welcoming, attentive and kind, I love the Tapestry online app that keeps me updated on what my daughter is doing throughout the day. sharing valuable learning opportunities with us. The teachers are excellent role models for my daughter promoting independence and teaching her to be a kind girl and to learn rules

My daughter started at Tiny Steps Nursery in May 2017, full time, and has thrived under the care of the staff who have been attentive and supportive from day one. She enjoys all of the activities on offer especially the outdoor play. I am very pleased that the nursery has an in-house cook who ensures that there is a variety of fresh, healthy meals on offer and as such my daughter is not a fussy eater at home.
All the staff are very approachable, and have a genuine interest in your child's well being and life. It’s great that the nursery have an early years teacher who can help the children transition

This is an outstanding nursery ran by an outstanding team. I have worked with Anne and the team, as their tutor, for a number of years now and have always seen outstanding practice from all staff members. Anne, Ann-Marie and Su go above and beyond to make sure that all staff are happy, supported and well trained. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they give extra help and support to any staff member that needs it.
The nursery environment is beautiful inside and out and all children are clearly happy and very well cared for, parents are welcomed at all times. It is like a home from home.

Great nursery and the staff are absolutely amazing. A very warm welcoming and friendly environment and very informative of what kind of day my child has had. I feel completely relaxed at work knowing my son is in safe hands and have had no worries or concerns so far. My son can't wait to go to nursery every day and his development has been amazing. Anne Marie the room leader for my sons room is so lovely and adds such a personal touch. Tiny Steps is a fabulous nursery and learning environment. My son has attended since September 2015 and his personal development has been noticeable. Thanks to this nursery he is now very positive and his confidence has increased immensely.
The staff are friendly, professional and very competent in their work.
My son loves the outdoors and the outdoor play area in this nursery is the best I've seen by a long shot.
