Beautiful layout with chandeliers and plants hanging from the roof. The food was interesting and tasty. The menu is a bit complicated as I had to search online for several items. Service was really friendly, attentive and knowledgeable!

Great food and atmosphere
Slightly uncomfortable seats and price are on the high end for the quantity but the taste is delicious.
Service was good, I'd recommend

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our work Christmas party at Brunswick house and oh my, it did not disappoint! Firstly, the team were extremely accommodating of all of our requests and the service we received before and during the event was spectacular! The building in the evening, especially at Christmas time, is simply magical and it was like stepping back in time! The food was delicious - I honestly cannot recommend this venue enough!

Extremely positive experience, food was outstanding and cooked to perfection, the brill really stood out though, the waiter was very attentive and knew a lot about the produce as well as the drinks selection. Sad to say I don’t remember his name but he’s of Lebenese-Bulgarian descent! Big props to him, thank you and we’ll be back.

I am over the moon with Brunswick House, this place is a neighbourhood secret, right next to Vauxhall Station. We had a long Saturday lunch with a delicious selection of wines and food. The Duck Terrine was excellent, as was the Burrata with Peas, the charcuterie delicious and the Prawn with girolles and potato was fantastic. The stand-out dish though was the Courgette Fritters with Date Jam, WOW! Just really awesome food! The Espresso Martini is also worth a mention, a very high quality cocktail!
All in all, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit and I couldn't recommend it enough! It gets

Sunday Lunch 🌟 🚨 🤩 🤤
Nothing more to be said that
• incredible food (Venison sharing is to die for)
• friendly team (George was spot on)
• loved the atmosphere (14:15 onwards)
• 3 hrs of dining almost and didn’t once feel pressured to be kicked out
• wine and beer on point
• starters and desserts are sumptuous flavour explosions
Going back for sure. Why not every Sunday.
Thanks to Jackson and the whole team

Superb food, eclectic decor and a friendly and professional staff. I couldn't rate thisnplace highly enough. the Welsh rarebit is only superseded by the potato bread . a bread which excels, until you get the ludicrously soft venison. and then the tarte thin....

Fantastic dècor, amazing food, generous portions, great cocktails, attentive and well- informed ( but not over- bearing service). I wish I had found this place before. It was the perfect spot for a very… leisurely lunch with my friend, away from the hustle and bustle. We will both return for sure and I am sure we will bringing others with us.

Visited 31 July 2020 - our first outing since lockdown. The place has relaunched and gone right back to it's roots - fantastic cooking, exceptional cocktails and great service, with an outdoor terrace where we felt safely distanced and perfectly comfortable. The surroundings are truly unique as seen in the photos. We need to support great local restaurants like this reemerging from lockdown and I would give the highest recommendation to anyone looking for a unique restaurant experience. We absolutely loved it and will be back.

Talk about an instagrammable venue! Chandeliers, hanging plants, kegs of beer. What more do you need?

I only shared a carafe of wine (available by the glass, 500ml, 750ml) which was delicious. It's a great spot for hanging out!

A beautiful oasis within a swamp of brutal property development and traffic ...

I first discovered this cafe quite a few years back and the combination of elegant dining in what seemed like a reclaimers yard perfectly fitted its surroundings. The transformation of Battersea Power Station and the riverside to Vauxhall Bridge had not fully set in. Fast forward to late 2016 and I wasn't sure Brunswick House hadn't been demolished just like almost everything else around here. Walking past generic luxury flats and the ubiquitous Pret-A-Manger I panicked for a while until the slighly

An impressive emporium of antiques, a dozen mismatched chandeliers, and kitschy furnishings. Kudos on the concept - where everything the eye can see is for sale. A vintage lover's dream come true. The assemblage of mirrors, heavy golden tapestry-like curtains and checked floors give it a Shoreditch vibe right smack dab in the middle of a Vauxhall roundabout.

Complete with house wine served from a tap into streaky bottles with pop tops saved in other cafes for storing tap and sparking water. The house red is not very drinkable so go for something else.

The al la carte menu is offbeat but

It's worth stepping into Brunswick House Cafe at least for the sake of checking out the interior: you might as well end up buying an antique lamp or a statue of Aphrodite for your house decoration.

We stepped in on a weekend for a late brunch, a pity they don't really do brunch. Nethertheless, they seem to have an updated menu every day and that Saturday poached eggs served with zucchini were on specials. It was nice and worth a try, but the most delicious thing I got to try was Toasted Ham Hock & Cheese Muffin which makes me want to go back to Brunswick House. It is seriously

I finally made a visit to Brunswick House in Vauxhall, a place that I have been meaning to go to in a long time.

I had a good feeling about the place the moment I stepped through the doors. Home to the architectural salvage company Lassco, the room was filled with all sorts of furniture and gaudy chandeliers hanging from the high ceilings. A random mix of quirky items and decor that gave it a bit of a Bohemian feel.
There is a bar at the front by the entrance with a more casual cafe seating area where you can have a coffee, whilst the restaurant area is towards the back of the room, past the elephants

I've only had coffee here, but every time it has been wonderfully prepared, served in a fantastically individual surrounding. Beforehand, of a weekend, it's lovely to walk around the rooms and take in the cornucopia of housewares from seemingly every era.
The latte is well executed, and my friends speak highly of the other coffees. The cucumber water is also very nice.

Vauxhall has a few coffee gems, and if you need the double caffeine hit then drop into nearby Italo beforehand.

Delicious little spot. The restaurant itself is very unique with all sorts of eclectic furnishings (think lots of different light fixtures for instance).

I came here with a friend for dinner and was quite impressed. We went on a Tuesday night so the place wasn't overly busy (probably no need to book ahead on quiet weekday nights) or too loud. My friend had the onglet (truly delicious if you're into steak) and I had the pork belly topped with superb pork crackling. Quite a treat.

The service was excellent as well.

After dinner, we visited the bar and I was pleasantly surprised by

I really wanted to like this place. It is quirky, unique and fun with tons of interesting vintage furniture and art work on display, but all that was not enough to get me to overlook the moldy smell, the slow service, and the limited menu.

I was there for lunch a few days ago, and for the 2 courses combo, there were only 3 mains and 2 desserts to choose from. It was a rather hard decision process since I could hardly pick one that I am interested in! In the end, I went with the mackerel for the main, and cake+custard for dessert. Both courses were fine and acceptable, but they were rather simple

Brunswick House Cafe, situated on the main road (Wandsworth Road), jut a stone throw away from Vauxhall Underground Station is a unique little venue. If you don't know where you are going, then you could quite easily pass it by, mistaking it for a garden centre or something similar.

The service is slow but friendly. The drinks are lacking in variety and the food is pricey but tasty and more varied than the drinks.

The best thing about Brunswick House is that literally everything you see, seating included, is for sale. The antiques range from tables and chairs to clocks to old movie poster

The staff are lovely and enthusiastic.
I dropped one star as service is often slow and it is a little pricey.

This is a delightful place for lunch - huge, endearingly shambolic interior, great mix of furniture and chandeliers and the odd doric column - it's hugely welcoming in a way that the generic chains could never be.

Menu is short but tempting, food is extremely good, well made, tasty, great quality and very reasonably priced. It changes daily but today there was mac & cheese, mortadella and emmanthal on sourdough, rare roast beef with green sauce on duck fat toast and, the stand out favourite for me, boiled old spot bacon, scrambled egg with a little apple relish, a tease of rocket all

One of the more characterful places around Vauxhall Cross, this provides a nice alternative to Starbucks / Pret / Aqua Brasserie / Young's Riverside, all of which are, to put it simply, a bit samey, and don't do enough to stand out.

Tucked away in the Lassco architectural salvage shop, the cafe provides a decent selection of coffees, nibbles, and bites to eat, with tables in a little outside patio, or inside, practically in the Lassco shop itself. All the tables, chairs, and accoutrements in the shop are for sale, and if you look closely, you'll find a price tag that will either
