Services
Our prices are extremely competitive and we will always take the time to explain the treatment plan, the reason why this is the most effective treatment, and the risks involved with alternative treatment. To reduce the cost of payments we offer discounts to our Pet Health Club members, so if you aren't a member yet, make sure you ask for more information.
We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking for a positive and hardworking Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital. An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our friendly and hardworking Reception team.
If it's not possible for you to attend the practice but you need some advice or your pet is unwell, we can offer you a video consultation. We would always prefer to see you face to face, but understand this is not always possible in the current circumstances. Step 1: Phone us and advise the receptionist that you'd like to arrange a video consultation.
We can support your concerns regarding abnormal behaviour, aggression to people or other animals, anxious or fearful behaviour, fear of the vets, other animals or people along with unwanted behaviours such as barking, destroying furniture and inappropriate toileting. If you are finding that a certain aspect of your pets' actions is effecting family balance or upsetting the life in general, we can support you with this.
We all know the importance of looking after our own teeth but it is just as important to look after your pet's teeth as well. The introduction of a dental hygiene routine and selecting a suitable feed can help towards preventing dental disease. Bacterial overgrowth on teeth, leading to plaque and tartar formation which causes discoloration of teeth.

As one our dogs is old and very nervous and refuses to get out the car. The Vets are always accommodating to come out to the car to see him. Great advise, recommendations given at all times along with great professionalism. Makes our visits so less stressful for us as well as our pet And yes may be a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. Wouldn’t go to anywhere else.

An emergency appointment was required to check out our poorly Springer Spaniel, Keira. Were seen within an hour by Vetinerary Surgeon Javier, who carried out a thorough investigation in a brilliant proffesional manner that put our obvious concerns at ease. Medication was administered and were then told to take her home with clear instructions as to how to proceed with Keira's recuperation. Well done to Javier and all colleagues who dealt with our needs at this worrying time. Lesley and Michael.

We took our v elderly dog to clockhouse vets, thinking that our only option, was to have him put to sleep, due to his decreasing quality of life.
Hannah, the vet, came outside to speak with us and to check our dog.
She gave us lots of time and enabled us to discuss options and showed enormous care and empathy to our dog and to us both.
There was no sense that we were being rushed or persuaded to go for expensive options. There was a real sense that Hector was the most important thing to consider and his comfort and quality of life.
