Cheltenham Vets
Our experienced and friendly team are here to help care for your pets, offering a comprehensive range of veterinary services at our Cheltenham practice, based in Warden Hill and our branch practice in Brockworth. Whether you have a cat, dog, small furry or exotic pet we will care for them in the best possible way to meet your needs with up to date techniques and equipment.

We are also partners with Cheltenham Equine Vets, so if you have a horse, please do get in touch with us too. We love cats. Our practice is cat-friendly and we even have a separate 'Kitty Corner' waiting area to minimise stress to our feline patients. We are experienced in caring for small animals, so whether your family member is a ferret, rabbit, hamster or guinea pig we've got them covered!
Services
At Woodlands we aim to provide a caring, personal service for all our clients and your pets. We have a team of vets who are able to provide a number of different skills such as cardiology, dermatology, endoscopy and orthopaedics. These skills are regularly updated through our Continuing Professional Development programmes, in accordance with the RCVS regulations.
Our feline friends are wonderful companions but we understand that trips to the vet can be very stressful for them and you! At Woodlands we strive to ensure your visits to us are as easy and calm as possible. Our nursing team are able to offer advice on the best way to transport your cat and once you arrive we have a cat only waiting area in which you can sit with your cat, away from inquisitive dogs!
Dogs are our companions and can be our best friends. We recognise that this bond may be enhanced by all the different aspects of our interaction with dogs, be that from activities such as breeding, showing or working through to simply a walking or running companion or just the pleasure of seeing a friendly face and wagging tail at home.
Rabbits and small rodents are an increasing part of our patient numbers. Knowledge and understanding of their daily requirements in terms of housing and nutrition is rapidly expanding and at Woodlands we aim to provide the advice and care required to keep your animal healthy. TLC is our Pet Health Plan that has been specially created for you to ensure that your pet gets the care it deserves.
A great number of people now own exotic species as pets. Fortunately a lot of veterinary information now exists and successfully treating these animals is no longer uncommon. Most illnesses are secondary to inappropriate husbandry. Information on how best to house and feed these animals is now readily available and prospective owners are encouraged to do a lot of research before they obtain their pet.
