Dalgety Bay Hypnotherapy
My name is David Stocks and I am a Professional Clinical Hypnotherapist in Fife, based in Dalgety Bay, so I'm near Dunfermline, Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy. I like my job and I know I'm good at what I do. I've have conducted around 10,000 hours of Hypnotherapy sessions now. This website focuses on Weight Loss and Slimming treatment, though it does cover all that I do.

You should understand that there is no miracle cure - I can't make anyone control their eating. My approach is to try to take away the negative thoughts and memories that drive people to seek comfort in food and make them feel unhappy. Everyone can be hypnotised, however, some find it easier than others, so h ypnotherapy doesn't help everyone.
Services
David volunteered for vetting by HM Government under the Disclosure Act for suitability for working with children, etc. This Society was founded in 1805 and received its Royal Charter in 1834. Its main aim is to promote an exchange of information and ideas on the science, practice and organisation of medicine, both within the health professions and with responsible and informed public opinion.
There is nothing spiritual, weird or mysterious about the hypnotic state. It is a totally natural state that can be likened to the period just before going to sleep, or when you are trying to remember something and stare at a spot on the wall, etc. A better name for it is daydreaming. Hypnosis is an inward focusing of attention where the demands of the outside world are switched off.
I do think that I can help you. I see many clients with weight loss /lifestyle /motivation problems and most show a considerable improvement. It's unrealistic (and unethical) to guarantee a complete cure for anything. I will say, though, that you will discover, for probably the first time in your life, what complete relaxation feels like.
Unfortunately, too many hypnotherapists out there (almost) guarantee that they will make you stop, often after only one session. This creates an unrealistic expectation as to how easy it is to stop with hypnosis. Whilst a small minority of people are very responsive to hypnotherapy and may actually quit for a while after one session, they will often start again after a few weeks.
First of all, the honest answer is: I don't know for sure. Everyone is different. Most clients benefit greatly from the use of Hypnoanalysis techniques to deal with the root causes of their problems. I make it standard practice, therefore, to deal as thoroughly as possible with these underlying issues.
