I'm a clinical hypnotherapist & intuitive life coach. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, I offer appointments in person, or globally online via Zoom or Skype. My experience with Gillian has been truly amazing. I booked 4 sessions in a block and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. I had never tried hypnotherapy before and was pleasantly surprised at how much it has helped me with my issues. Gillian is 100% professional and has you feeling relaxed as soon as you enter the room. I came to Gillian because I had gained 1and a half stone during the 2nd lockdown. I had tried for months but couldn’t break my bad habits. I felt heavy and down that I couldn’t fit into any of my clothes. After 6 weeks of seeing Gillian I’ve lost a stone and 3 inches on my waist. I came to Gillian 3 years ago about my anger managment and patience level issues and how it was effecting my relationship. I have had several counselling session and nothing honestly helped me when I was in the situation, I never would remember all the different techniques that I was taught but hand on heart I felt like a changed person after my second session with Gillian. I went to see Gillian to discuss food relationship issues I had for many years and not really knowing what a hypnotherapist could do. We had an initial phone discussion to understand a bit better my issue and it turned out it was the relationship with myself we needed to repair.

Gillian is gifted and talented and zoned into my needs immediately. She also has a lovely manner which is very soothing. I found my sessions with her to provide total relaxation but it was the after effects that I found the most incredible. I immediately felt a release of past self sabotaging behaviour and felt powerful and in control of my life. I can't recommend Gillian highly enough.

I’d recommend Gillian to anyone who is looking for support and guidance from a hypnotherapist. While she is Edinburgh-based she does also run client sessions via zoom which I found were just as effective during lockdown.

I recently booked three hypnotherapy sessions with Gillian to help with weight management. I booked these because I could not regain control of my bad eating habits which had run away with me. The weight was piling on & I was in despair, miserable & despondent. Despite trying other hypnotists, Gillian is the first person to truly hypnotise me and it has worked!! I would highly recommend Gillian. I have now lost ten pounds in a little over two weeks and am not nearly as reliant on eating rubbish. The control is back & I am looking forward to the future once more.
