Services
The first caravans appeared in 1956, and ever since then we have been providing caravan holidays and short breaks for families and couples. In the early years the caravan park was run in conjunction with the dairy and poultry farm, this was until the late 1970s when milking was transferred elsewhere.
With a range of hire caravans to choose from, Crows Nest Caravan Park has something to suit your family and your budget. Throughout our range of caravans for hire you will find modern, open plan living - ideal for a family holiday. Choose one of our centrally heated models and ensure that you wake up to the warmth and comfort of home, even during early and late season.
There is no better way to enjoy the great outdoors than holidaying in your own tent, touring caravan or motorhome. A grassy area which overlooks Gristhorpe Bay and looks out towards Scarborough Castle is set aside for tents. A sensational view that will amaze you every morning. All Touring Caravan Pitches at Crows Nest are now Super Pitches, giving you a luxury 'All-Weather' Pitch with your own private facilities close to hand.
You will never be stuck for things to do during your visit to the Yorkshire coast, we have exciting attractions, sandy beaches and historic buildings. This section provides you with details of attractions and activities in the area, including places to visit such as the SeaLife Centre, Flamingo Land and Playdale Farm Park.
There is always something happening on the park or in the local area. This guide will explain our evening entertainment and local events on the Yorkshire coast. Whether you choose to stay on the park and enjoy our live entertainment in the lounge bar, or explore the area and check out some of the fantastic events and live shows, there is something for every body at Crows Nest.

Had a really enjoyable stay. Nice site. Lots of space and nit too busy. Facilities are very good and enjoyed the Saturday afternoon entertainment with tilly playing the drums. Could do with adding or replacing some of the beer and larger available. Maybe get a moretti or estrella on and an IPA.
Will definitely be booking to come back and the tourer pitch at the top of the site look to be a bit quieter and private.

Absolutely terrible site! Facilities are disgusting! No hand soap, hand dryers don’t work and nothing else offered.. Penned in tents as no allocated pitches, there was shouting, swearing, music until gone 1am. People walking round smoking cannabis at 8.30am, dogs wondering in your tent! We came back to a tent directly outside our door so we… couldn’t even sit outside our tent. They had parked their cars next to our tent so we couldn’t park our car up at the side of our tent. Families left rubbish and broken chairs on their pitch when left. It resembled a field after travellers

Nice location with beautiful scenic views from the cliff top. Toilet and shower blocks were clean and pleasant most of the time. The fish and chip shop on site was very good. We were disappointed that the swimming pool was not open.
Our only downside to staying was the location for our electric pitch for the tent. It was located right alongside the… playground area. There is no curfew on the playground which meant children of all ages were playing on there til past 11pm which made it very loud and even more so with children having no separate area for football which meant the ball kept hitting

If you are on top of the
Hill than its perfect but on the bottom camp part it is not as good anymore. At 1 o clock in the morning people still having fun outside the tents and delivery guys coming with take away food. Also the light at the reception building never off so when you close you have a light on and noise at all the time. So loud, so packed, the toilets smells.
Will be a much better if they wouldn't take as many people in the same time. Not good if you looking for quiet place away with your family.

We just back from our week stay. The place is fantastic! We were in a field on a cliff. We set up the tents so that we had toilets and a playground within sight. True, it windy a bit more, but it is bearable. Toilets, showers clean. Cleaned fee times a Day. Beware for hot water! The view from the cliff is beautiful. I recommend the cliff walk to Filey. . Store well stocked. The only downside is the noisy hand dryers in the toilets which are a bit of a nuisance to sleep at night. I highly recommend this place!

Last time I was there was probably 20 years ago. The only thing that has changed is a shower/toilet and pot wash block has been knocked down and a bigger better one rebuilt at the top of the site. Still, it's a good site, kept clean and most of the staff are nice and friendly. Definitely needs updating though and more shower/toilet blocks are needed!

We pitched on overflow as top pitch was totally packed. It is big pitch so you can find a space easily. Unfortunately this pitch is too noisy, portaloos are not good enough, dirty and only few of them were opened. However shop is nice and top block toilets/showers are ok. Overall I would not stay there again as it definitely not our cup of tea.

It's almost perfect for us. Nice view. Good facilities and clean. Many things in Supermarket. I think about give five stars, but it will be perfect if there are buses coming here like others Holiday Park nearly as we are backpackers. We walked from main road to the rent pitch with our stuffs about 1 Km, a bit of tried.
However, it is only two of us who walked. Normally, many people come by cars. As i said, it's almost perfect. It's great experience for us. We will come back again.
