We offer a comprehensive bespoke framing service, with nothing less than a thoroughly professional attitude, best ethical practice, and quality of excellence in everything we do. We have been part of the Marylebone scene for 30 years and value the shared support we have with the local community. The shop has long offered one of the most extensive ranges of frames, mount, and glass options in London.
Nearly all the work is carried out on site unless special requirements call for the expertise of one of our highly trusted and specially sourced subcontractors. At CPF we have many high-profile clients and business customers who expect a confidential, speedy, reliable, and no-fuss service.

Services
If you have a football shirt or 3D item, you will require a box frame. We have a wide range of suitable picture frame mouldings with wood and card fillets to match. We can comfortably fit items of up to 5cm depth in a box frame. If you need something deeper, an acrylic display frame may be required.
We never just stick artwork into a window mount, as this is not safe. We always book mount; your artwork is laid on an acid-free baking card using only acid-free tapes to make T hinges, occasionally we use other methods but only ever using conservation standard materials. At Creative Picture Framing, we use conservation mounts as standard.
Because we care about your artwork we recommend the right glass for the job. All paper products require glazing, colours can fade when exposed to ultraviolet light and excessive reflections can ruin the enjoyment of your art. Weight and safety can sometimes be an issue too, and so we provide a wide selection of glazing products to suit your individual needs.

This was the best framing experience I had.
The service was exceptional - the team opened the door even though it was locked after hours, and helped me with an important project.
I had a last minute job and they exceeded my expectations within a few minutes. They even advised me on how to optimize my photography project using a different store, although at the end I felt creative were the better option so I kept it local with them.
So warm, and so accommodating. I’m truly grateful I stumbled across this lovely store and team.

Positive: they are indeed quite creative, and they have a *lot* of framing options (more than other places I have been to). Also, they take covid19 social distancing more seriously than most, which was important for me.
Negative: they are far too expensive for the service they provide. I took three smallish pictures to be framed with them, and it ended up costing £750, wheras it should have been £500 or less, based on my experiences with two other framers who have provided similar quality wood and glass (museum/art quality), but just with fewer colour options. I only went to Creative Picture

I was incredibly excited to have this framers less than 5 minutes from my house however I have had nothing but huge disappointment.
They couldn’t have messed me around more.
I took 2 new identical pieces in for full framing - both came back with different sized frames / hanging wires at different levels and one piece was bubbled.
The third piece was a frame repair - due to a staff change and misunderstanding of the job (no handover) they took away the old frame and completely reframed in a much cheaper poorer quiality frame than the original one - making the works look cheap and flimsy.

I am grateful for businesses that do what they say on the tin and value their customers. Creative Picture Framing in Baker Street springs to mind, I've used them for years. They've always gone above and beyond in the help they've given me in many ways, and most importantly of course, have always come up with the perfect frames for everything I've done - for me and for my own clients. Very helpful, always get it right and always the right advice. Fab sense of humour, too! Can't get better than that! :)..x
