Services
We use market-leading dental software- appointment management software, meaning that you benefit from efficient service. Infection control is of prime importance in this practice. Every clinical member of staff receives training in all aspects of infection control, including decontamination of equipment, as part of their induction programme and through regular update training.
As well as Woburn Sands, we also serve the surrounding areas of Milton Keynes, Ampthill, Woburn, Bletchley, Knowlhill, Middleton, Newport Pagnell, Pennyland, Stony Stratford, Stonebridge, Tongwell and more. Our premises are within a purpose built building which has been updated and modernised internally, offering a clean and comfortable welcome to all our patients.
At our highly-regarded local clinic we offer services in three main areas; preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Woburn Sands Dental Practice offers a comprehensive selection of high-quality dental treatments for the whole family. We work extremely hard to ensure that we help patients maintain a beautiful, healthy smile right now and into the future.
Our clinic is proud to hold preventative dental care at the heart of what we offer for all of our patients. We want to ensure we provide everything we can to help you gain, restore and maintain the healthiest, happiest smile possible. Our detailed oral examinations are designed to ensure any issues are picked up quickly, including any problems that could occur in the future if oral habits are not adjusted.
Woburn Sands Dental Practice offers exceptional preventative services, advice and treatments to help patients avoid cavities and dental decay. However, despite best efforts, decay may still occur in which case we offer effective treatment to remove it and save the rest of the natural tooth, so avoiding extraction.

I attended today having put up with a gum abscess/cyst for the last 4 years and after being seen by 3 other dentists (at different practices) without resolution. Dr Patel investigated thoroughly and has now referred me to the hospital. I cannot thank him enough, it was so refreshing that he listened patiently to me and has restored my faith in dentistry!! A huge weight off my mind to finally be getting this sorted out- sincere thanks to you and also to the pleasant reception staff.

Shambolic practice. My wife's had two horrific episodes there and I've come to the conclusion that our money is better spent elsewhere, where the dentists actually know what they're doing.
My wife's previous visit resulted in a serious infection and subsequent loss of the tooth they were trying to repair. Now they've fitted an incorrectly sized crown and she's in agony until they put right what they've got catastrophically wrong. Ironically the temporary crown fitted better than the actual one, which is where the real cost lies.
To add insult to injury, the hateful and extremely rude receptionist

Terrible service, took 3 visits to get 1st check up, wasn't told prior to arriving they had to cancel. When eventually seen they said I needed a tooth removed but they had to refer it to another dentist as they couldn't remove it! The other dentist pulled it in 2 mins.
Wife has been going for 2 years to get a crown fitted, after 10 visits still not done.
I believe they have trained dentists for the old customers and use trainees for everyone else which is why they can never do anything.
Very poor service and comms.

NERVOUS PATIENTS, FEAR NO MORE!!
If I could leave a higher rating I would.
I've not been to the dentist in over 5 years due to a few terrifying experiences I had as a child (I'm now 36), so it takes me a while to build up the trust with a new dentist.
I've been suffering on and off all that time with excruciating toothache, normally it flares up every 6 months or so. I got told by my last dentist who left the country I needed a root canal, but the thought of this petrified me! So much so I would suffer through the agony rather than book to get it done.
This year I have decided to go abroad

From start to finish, decent people, highly skilled and understanding of whats required. Professional and courteous. Appointment 'next day' when I had a painful problem. Everything I've had to date is NHS and I can see no difference to my treatment to that of my partner who has her treatment privately at another practice.
