Eco is a much bigger word than green.
It's a low-impact lifestyle; supporting local suppliers; promoting talent and thoughtful creativity; selling enough of what we need, not more than we can sustain; quality not mass-produced quantity; beauty and imagination in things that are made to last; good advice going a long way (like how to help your soil work harder naturally, and saving money on unnecessary plant food), and being a positive force in the local community.

Compact garden centre with loads of outdoor plants and some indoor specimen in the small shop/cafe. Love that you can buy a drink from the cafe and sit at the covered area amongst the outdoor plants. Visited to get ideas on plants, sizes and prices and will be back when it's time to buy for the new garden

Love this cute, eclectic, shabby chic place. Small but surprisingly well stocked with lots of tempting bits. Love the cafe too with tables outside/inside (wear something warm if it's chilly outside. You will be dry but could get cold). A short walk to some fabulous street art too along the road opposite. Well worth the trip.

Really enjoyed this nursery and the plants looked happy and healthy. They had fantastic children's books which I appreciated that so much because my 5 year old loves plants and books! I really liked the ceramic cache pots they had too and the salted caramel brownie was unforgettable. Definitely going back :)

Peaceful café/garden centre/produce shop. Café is mix and match tables scattered amongst the garden centre both under cover and outside. The grapevine that runs around the roof of the undercover seating area is impressive and bearing lots of bunches of grapes. The undercover seating is basically a large greenhouse so does get warm. Coffee is good quality. Tea is loose, served in proper, large tea pots with cup sieves for each cup and saucer. Cakes have the appearance of home made with plenty of vegan offerings to choose from. Shop sells plants and gardening equipment as well as locally produced
