Governors are attached to a subject and work closely with the Subject Leader to develop and support the subject. Subject responsibilities are detailed within the 'Panels, Committee & Curricular Links' page. These committees meet once or twice a term. The committees have delegated powers, but report back to the main governing body at each meeting.

Hampshire County Council is the admission authority for all community and voluntary controlled primary and secondary schools. The admission and appeal arrangements are determined by the County Council, after statutory consultations. The County Council will consider first all those applications received by the published deadline.
As this is Hampshire County Council policy, it is anticipated that all Hampshire schools will be adhering to it. Hampshire County Council have also advised schools to communicate with each other where siblings are in different schools. We strongly advise that you read these procedures and make yourself familiar with the attendance requirements.
Welcome to the governor pages in which you can find out more about who the governors are and how they work with the school. Every school is required to have a governing body and school governors are drawn from different parts of the community.
This helps to ensure that the governing body has sufficient diversity of views and experience but doesn't mean that governors of a particular category 'represent' that group on the governing body or report back to them. All governors have the same roles and responsibilities once part of the governing body.
