St Mark's Church Of England Primary School
St Mark's has a strong Christian ethos, brilliant pupils, fantastic staff and a supportive community. Our four Christian values underpin all that we do, resulting in a high quality of education for all of its pupils at all levels. We are keen to "Grow and learn together in God's love". Our learning behaviours and HeartSmart 'High Five' help us to learn well and be emotionally strong and resilient, too.

At St Mark's, we are ambitious for our children to achieve well, and believe that in order to achieve this, we must put character before qualification so that we develop each and every child. Our real hope is that in all that we do, we are able to put in firm foundations for our children, thereby making a difference to themselves, to their friends and family, and to the wider community- both now and in the future.
A SIAMS inspection focuses on the impact of the Church school's Christian vision on pupils and adults. This involves looking at the school's Christian vision, the provision the school makes because of this vision and how effective this provision is in enabling all pupils to flourish. We are pleased to say that we got the top grades across the board; according to SIAMs, we are an EXCELLENT school.
Collective Worship occupies an important and unique place within the life of St Mark's CofE Primary School. It's a key way to realise our vision of "Growing and Learning Together In God's Love". It provides an opportunity for members of the school community to pause from activity, to gather together, to learn about and reflect upon the Christian beliefs and values which bind the school community together.
As part of our Eco project for this term, we are thinking about the single-use plastic we use every day. The children have all started collecting their plastic from lunches and in the classroom. The Eco Committee will be putting the plastic into 2L bottles to make eco bricks for us to create something with.

Report
A very big school which has a lot of crucifixes and a Vicar. Parking is terrible and traffic is extremely slow at the start and finish of school.
