Mike provides driving lessons in Buxton and the High Peak area and is also happy to teach students from further a field, who wish to take their practical test in Buxton. In addition to lessons for new drivers he also offers refresher courses for drivers who have passed their test but have not driven for some time or have lost confidence in driving perhaps from an accident.

Mike offers instruction to suit the individual, ranging from one hour a week, to intensive block courses when available. Mike will pick up/drop off at your home, school, college, place of work or any other reasonable location. He uses modern, proven teaching methods to help you pass your test. Each lesson will be tailored to each individuals needs to ensure that you learn in a safe, comfortable and relaxed envoironment.

The Car Report

Mikes current car is the latest Ford Fiesta. It is fully equipped with dual controls, airbags and an ABS braking system. With an NCAP 5 star safety rating it provides one of the safest learning envoironments around. The car is a 3 door hatchback and has a 1.5 diesel engine with a manual transmission.

PassPlus Report

For the newly qualified driver Mike offers the "Pass Plus" course, which may enable you to claim a discount on your car insurance (check with your insurer). It also aims to give new drivers the extra confidence and skills needed to drive safely in areas that are not covered by the practical driving test such as motorways.
