How do you get the car you want and pay a lower premium? The answer is Pass Plus - backed by insurance companies, Central Government and the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. There is no substitute for driving experience but professional training can help speed up those skills. This way you can experience different driving situations under supervision.
Before you can book your practical test, you must first pass the theory test. The test should be booked via the dvsa rather then through an unofficial website, who will charge you more than the official cost of 23.00. When you report for the theory test, make sure you take along your licence otherwise you will be turned away.
Once you have passed your theory test and your driving is up to test standard, then you are ready to book your practical test. You must take your driving licence or your test will not go ahead and you will lose your fee. The driving test will begin with an eyesight check. You must be able to read a number plate from 20.5 metres away.
You will be asked two of the following questions. One will be a "tell me" question where you will give a verbal answer. The other will be a "show me" question where you will need to show and explain the answer to the examiner. You will be asked to do this whilst you are driving. Don't rush. Just do it when it is safe to do so.

Rob is an excellent driving instructor and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I started learning to drive over 10 years ago and hated it (not with Rob) so stopped but decided it was something I needed to do. Rob is so patient (something that I’d say is required to teach me) and made me feel like I could actually drive one day despite me moaning that I couldn’t. I felt like I was making progress every lesson and I passed my test first time with only 4 minors which was due to nerves. Thanks Rob

I highly recommend Rob to anyone wanting to learn to drive. He is so patient, calm and put's you under no pressure so you can learn at your own pace! I really enjoyed my driving lesson's with Rob he is so easy to chat to and help's you to feel confident, great instructor can't thank him enough for getting me through my test.

Would highly recommend Rob, I had a few refresher driving lessons after a 4 year break from driving. The difference between my first and last lesson was astounding. Passed first time with only 1 minor, Rob has been excellent throughout my time learning, always on time, friendly and makes good conversation. The most important aspect is that he teaches you at your own pace, therefore you feel comfortable throughout the learning experience and don't feel forced to do things you're not ready to do, which in turn makes the learning experience less stressful. The lessons before your test, he tailors the lessons to your choosing to ensure that you are confident with any test route they may take you on, and to improve any weaknesses. Highly recommend to anyone looking
