Services
A perfect couple's retreat, Isolda's offers extremely spacious newly renovated accommodation. Yet provisions can easily be made for very young children. The level and firm access to all areas of the apartment also makes Isolda's ideal for those with limited mobility. The interior of Isolda's benefits from a brand new bespoke kitchen and bathroom suite.
This charming period mid-terrace cottage offers a completely different holiday experience to the properties on the Lanwithan estate. Situated near the centre of Lostwithiel, Bridgend cottage gives visitors the chance to soak up the atmosphere of a countryside town that is both quaint and engaging, with a huge range of activities to suit all requirements.
Climb Moorside's external granite steps, relax with refreshments on its private sun deck and soak up the peaceful atmosphere whilst enjoying the scenery across the fields. Once the sewing room of the manor house and situated above Poundhouse, this property now offers cosy and bright first floor accommodation for a couple and is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall.

Stayed at Bridgend in Lostwithiel for a week. Very nice, well presented cottage, lovely welcome pack of a cream tea for two. Everything we needed and cottage well positioned for walks into the lovely town. Thank you both, will come again.

We stayed in Isoldas (one of a number of rentals within the Lanwithan farm) - a cottage adjoining onto the main house. It’s set in a really wonderful estate with mature gardens and is out of Lostwithiel but close enough to walk in if you wanted to. Ruth and Henry were brilliant hosts - friendly, chatty and able to offer recommendations. The cottage/flat is very spacious with everything to make a weeks stay comfortable. It’s bigger than the pictures show too. Close to lots of good sights - Fowey, Eden Project, Padstow, Gardens of Heligan etc. Cute town with independent shops and a co-op which

Last summer we had a great stay as usual at Lanwithan. This time for the first time in The Farmhouse. The cottages and grounds are excellent. Very peaceful and lots to explore for the children. Henry, Ruth and the family are great hosts: always friendly, helpful and in for a nice conversation. Lanwithan is the perfect place to stay and from which to explore beautiful Cornwall!

Tristan's at Lanwithan Manor is an excellent base for a holiday, being within easy reach of both the north Cornwall coast and the south. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable and has lovely gardens to the rear. The owners were friendly and helpful and Lostwithiel itself is pretty little town in which to spend time. We would also recommend Trewithen Restaurant in the town where we had an excellent meal in lovely surroundings.

We had a lovely stay in Granny's Cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and we were very pleased to find a cream tea waiting for us on arrival. The owners were helpful but unobtrusive. The location was peaceful and scenic. The lack of wifi did not bother us.

I stayed at The Farmhouse with my parents and siblings last summer. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed, the surrounding land was perfect for me and my siblings to play, and we had many nice conversations with Henry and Ruth. Lanwithian is a great place to stay not only if you want to explore Cornwall, but also if you want to enjoy your holiday in a relaxing environment.

We spent a glorious week at Poundhouse with our two small children. The cottage is traditionally furnished and the kitchen is really well equipped. A real home away from home. You can walk into Lostwithiel from the cottage. There are many beaches a short drive away. The owners, Edward and Ruth, were very friendly and welcoming.

Friendly helpful owners. We had 18 month old twins and a large dog. They spent allot of time securing the stairs and garden for us, which was more than we asked for. A few days in they checked we were ok, which resulted in them reprogramming the heating for us, to keep the twins warmer in the early morning. All in all they couldn't do enough to help.

We stayed at Granny's Cottage for three days after Easter. The cottage was well maintained and comfortable. Stunning views across the valley, very peaceful and quiet. My sons were upset that there was no internet, but didn't miss it that much after the first few hours. We have never been to Cornwall so we used the cottage as a base for exploring. We went as far as Lands End.
We would definitely stay again if we come to Cornwall again.
Many thanks for your wonderful cottage.

We spent 9 days in Granny's cottage in August 2018 (2 adults and 2 children). The cottage is really spacious, clean and comfortable, with all the necessary equipment. The around estate is quiet and well-kept, full of wildlife for children's joy! Henry and Ruth welcomed us with cider, milk, cornish cream tea and plenty of kind advices for our visits. Lostwithiel is a nice authentic village, good starting point for exploring all Cornowall. Fully recommended!!
