As the Marple Bridge premises is now closed, we continue to trade online and by appointment. As always, we will source pieces for customers by request as well as renovate and restore customer's own furniture. You will find a ever changing display of antique English and Continental furniture finished in natural beeswax or your choice of painted finishes.

Paul Buxcey opened Townhouse 32 years ago in the tiny village of Marple Bridge where he grew up. After trading for 4 years, disaster struck and Marple Bridge had to be closed when Town Street fell into the river! The shop was cut off for a year, and Paul began to ship English and Continental antiques to America.
