Services
Met continually invests in equipment and training to ensure our land survey capabilities are wide ranging and market leading. We work with you from initial planning stages through to site work to provide "best for project" recommendations and ensure all data is "fit for purpose". At Met we employ traditional and innovative approaches to provide a full range of services.
Met employ a range of utility mapping techniques, including electromagnetic locators, ground penetrating radar and CCTV inspections. Our surveys are carried out in accordance with British Standards such as BSi PAS128, BS EN 13508 and industry guidance such as The Survey Association Guidance on Utility Mapping and the WRc Manual of Sewer Condition Classification.
Geophysics is widely used and popular in disciplines such as archaeology and engineering geology, but also has a host of other applications where knowledge of the shallow sub-surface is required. It can, for example, enable large areas to be surveyed in a relatively short timeframe, with minimal disruption in comparison to intrusive works.
Met Consultancy Group offer a wide range of specialist desktop reports which draw on the knowledge and experience of our multi-disciplinary team and generally supplement information required to validate a planning application. The site investigation is the bedrock on which good engineering design is based.
The management of water shapes the world we live in and is essential for maintaining our infrastructure and health. Finding solutions to integrate the infrastructure of a development site into the wider Highway network. Met Engineers utilise 3D modelling software to develop accurate levels proposals for development sites.

I worked at Met Consultancy Group from June 2013 until May 2017 and it was thanks to all the knowledge and training opportunities that were given to me during this period, that I managed to improve my skills and progress with my career.
There's a balance among the staff, where the most experienced professionals take over the most complex jobs with the support of junior staff.
Not only this ensures that the jobs are performed with high standards but also there's a clear opportunity for junior staff to gain experience.
I strongly recommend this company if you are a Surveying or Civil Engineering

Met Consultancy Group comprises Met GeoEnvironmental Ltd and Met Engineers Ltd. Both companies have excellent health and safety records with, to date at least, no RIDDOR reportable incidents. A lot of hard work goes into keeping it this way and will do for the foreseeable future. Group accreditations and certifications include SSiP, RISQS (rail related safety), Constructionline Gold, ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 - these are not given freely and
