Soil Engineering are a long established leader in the UK Geotechnical Sector. Delivering both Ground Investigation and Drill and Grout services from three bases across the country, we are capable of undertaking a wide range of investigative and remediation techniques.

Our Ground Investigation Division provides a broad scope of coverage, capable of completing investigations ranging from single house foundation investigations, to nationally significant capital and infrastructure schemes such as HS2, Crossrail and Thames Tideway.
Soil Engineering was founded on the belief that high-quality Ground Investigation data is the key to mitigating ground risk and enhancing design. Over 50 years later, we pride ourselves in the range of techniques we offer, and the quality of the workmanship and data produced by our talented teams across the country.
Soil Engineering, Drilling and Grouting Services has over 40 years experience of providing ground treatment services in the UK. A wealth of experience has been gained through successfully completing over 1500 contracts, valued between 1K and 5M. Soil Engineering offer UK wide coverage, operating from a central office in Leeds and regional offices in Camberley and Motherwell.
The availability of reliable and appropriate test data is critical to the delivery of any geotechnical project. From Design data to Quality Assurance Soil Engineering are able to undertake a wide variety of testing to support the investigative or construction phases of any geotechnical scheme.

Providing in-house capability for geotechnical laboratory and in-situ testing and using proven and trusted subcontractors to undertake geochemical testing, we are able to supply timely data in digital formats (both AGS4 and PDF), for all projects.
1963: Ken Child of Holst & Co, a Concrete Structures specialist founded in 1918, was charged with setting up a Site Investigation Team, to provide technical and commercial advantage to Holst's design department. The geotechnical department undertake major ground investigations at Sellafield, NIREX, and many other major sites across the UK.
