Excellent location close to town centre, park and beach (all within 5-10 mins walk) Rooms very comfortable & serviced daily. Fantastic breakfast to set you up for the day. We stayed at the hotel as a family of 4 for a mini summer break, there was a mix up with our booking - totally our fault but the hotel.
Excellent motorways and high speed trains make Bournemouth's central coastal location easily accessible from all parts of Great Britain and the continent. Central London and Heathrow are just over 90 minutes away by rail. From London follow the signs onto the M25. Continue along the M25 and exit at Junction 12 for the M3.

I stayed here in October 2021 and enjoyed my visit. The hotel is close to the Town centre and its about an 8-10 minute walk to the seafront.
There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as convence store. The hotel does have its own restaurant but didnt eat here . I couldn't work out how to book breakfast as the information display on the TV wasn't accesible.
If travelling by train the city centre is about a 20 minute walk from the station
I stayed in room 1 which was quite warm possible due to its near the kitchen. The rooms are a decent size clean and comfortable. You get a kettle and there

Delicious afternoon tea! Everything very fresh, tasty and well presented. The staff are lovely - professional yet friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The lounge area is warm and very comfortable. Spaces… between tables allow for privacy without feeling isolated. I will definitely continue to use the splendid Norfolk Royale Hotel!

What a fantastic place to stay. It has everything going for it , great location, great food (the Sunday lunch was spot on). As for the staff... couldn't wish for any better, nothing was too much trouble. Really comfortable bed and spotless room, as is the whole hotel. A huge thankyou to Rachel and her whole team, would reccomend this hotel to everyone. It deserves six stars.

Visited during the Air show which made the hotel busier than normal. But the cleanliness of the hotel wasn't great our room could have done with a good hoovering. Also couldn't get checked in until gone 5pm and had to attend a wedding party at 6pm so that was a bit of a nightmare having spent 5 hours travelling there from Yorkshire. I wouldn't say it was a bad hotel but wouldn't stay there again based on this experience.

The photos of the hotel looked amazing online and the reviews were great, however the whole place felt tired and worn. The rooms and public spaces needed an update. When we booked in there seemed to be only 3 members of staff about (a receptionist, a barman and a waitress in the restaurant). The barman was polite but struggling to keep up and battling a coffee machine that didn't want to work. Breakfast was OK and the lady that talked us through it was a star, so happy and bubbly. £16 to park was ridiculous.

I have stayed here twice so it can't be that bad! I think it's more geared up for the older generation. Room was large and comfortable ... third floor def the best in my opinion. Breakfast room was disorganised and the staff were very young and not fast enough. They ran out of milk and eggs and were just too slow. The cooked buffet breakfast was just okay .. again, in my opinion.

Anyone booking needs to be aware car park is £16 per day.
Staff were very good and friendly service was excellent.
Had evening meal one night and was delicious.
Location is very good 5 mins to centre and 10 minute walk through park to the beach.
Room was good but picked up a lot of noise from outside as we had window open because so hot even with fan on
Pool a little small but used sauna
Hotel needs a little sprucing up as showing its age in certain places lift was ultra 🐌 slow
Enjoyed stay though

Lovely old hotel which makes you feel like you are stepping back into a bygone age. The staff are very helpful and attentive. The food is very good with an extensive breakfast buffet and there are other meals available to order from the bar and restaurant. There is a pool, jacuzzi and sauna available to book.
