Helena Fortley is conveniently situated in the heart of Caterham town centre. 3 minutes off the M25 at Junction 6 (Godstone). 1 Junction along from the M25/M23 exit (Brighton). Easily accessible from London, either by car or train into Caterham station. There are parking spaces opposite the shop with further parking found in Timber Hill Rd (beside Caf Nero).

My daughter is getting married in July and Helena Fortley was her first visit to a bridal shop. She fell in love with one dress in particular but decided to look at some more just to be sure! Four different shops later she came back to her first love! Sally has been amazing, so lovely, kind, helpful and professional! She goes through the procedure of ordering your chosen dress to the fittings once the dress has arrived. I went to Helena Fortley with no idea of what I wanted and the staff were just amazing in helping me choose, in the end, had about 5 dresses that were all beautiful and the difficulty was choosing just one! I then had to get it adjusted and Anna is a genius at this! Dress was perfect, I can't imagine anyone going in there and NOT finding an amazing dress, such a lovely experience from start to finish, cannot recommend Helena Fortley enough!

What can I say about Sally & her team! After trying on copious amounts of wedding dresses at lots of other shops I was recommended to come to Helena Fortley, and I’m so grateful I was. This was the only shop I… went to where I felt completely comfortable and Sally is so genuine. My dress was completely different to what I thought and sally was the only one who pushed me out of my comfort zone and I’m so pleased she did!

Sally and her team are absolutely amazing! The collections and service is exquisite and they do all they can to make it the most perfect moment for you. I can not recommend them enough.

Sally and all the staff are absolutely brilliant - they made me feel welcome and at ease, and at no point did I feel pressured to buy unlike at some other shops I went to. Sally would give her honest opinion about how the dresses looked as well, rather than just saying they looked good to try to make a sale. Everyone who works there makes you feel special and cared for. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

Covid postponed my wedding for a year and I ended up choosing another dress, I went straight back to sally and she found me an even better dress then before! Sally is one of the loveliest people you will ever come across and was meant to be a wedding dress boutique owner. Without her and Anna, my wedding would not have been what it was. Having just had a baby I was not feeling body confident but also needed to start wedding dress shopping. Well there was absolutely no need to worry at all. I think it can easily be said that, hands down, you have one of the most beautiful and unique collections of bridal gowns and it is so evident how much care and attention goes into selecting dresses… that will suit a range of venues, styles, budgets and brides! I was very lucky that I found Sally at Helena Fortley with my first wedding dress trip and didn't need to go anywhere else (in fact I bought a dress on my first visit!). She is a fantastic combination of someone who makes you feel comfortable but also knows what will suit you. Her choices of designers are particularly good for those who want something funky but with a classic vintage feel and suit all ages. She will make you look classically glamorous but also has the sort of thing you can wear on a beach. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
