Old Smiddy Gifts is located in the beautiful seaside village of Gullane, East Lothian. We are lucky enough to be housed in a fantastic old Smiddy, or blacksmiths, building in the heart of the village, dating back to the 16th Century. We pride ourselves on locating unusual and special pieces for you to choose and offer a personal and warm service to help advise you if required.
Services
During 2017, we launched Old Smiddy Bespoke, our fantastic new concept which offers personalised cards and gifts, in-store, while you wait! No more waiting around for mail order; simply visit our store in Gullane, spend a few minutes on our touch screen kiosk designing your items, and walk away with your purchases a few minutes later.
We did operate an Ecommerce site for several years but did not enjoy the experience. We felt separated from our customers and unable to offer the personal service we love giving. We now offer a personal shopper service instead for those unable to come into store. All items purchased can be exchanged or returned for a credit note within 30 days of purchase.

The Old Smiddy is a delightful gift shop set on the high street of the picturesque town of Gullane. You can get all sorts of quality items from gifts for all occasions including great wedding gifts and also lovely cards and beautiful home accessories.
I would thoroughly recommend all passers by to stop in and for those looking for gift ideas you simply must pay them a visit! :-)
