At Cranachan & Crowdie you'll find all those quintessential Scottish food and drink souvenirs from thistle-shaped shortbread down to a humble slab of tablet. But this range of trademark Scottish treats is certainly not limited. Fiona and Beth personally curate an exciting range that includes thirteen different types of oatcakes alongside oodles of accompanying jams, marmalades and chutneys.
Not to mention traditional Black Bun, award winning chocolates, traditional and whisky tablet and even Scottish dog treats. Those among us with special dietary needs needn't worry about being left out, as Cranachan & Crowdie offers a fantastic gluten free range, from beer to biscuits, to satisfy Scottish-food-cravings.

What sort of gift shop requires entry by appointment only with no further information being published related to the same on Google Maps.
The brick and mortar shop leaves no further information to even make such a viewing beyond a email address. Owner should ask themselves if this is appropriate for a shop mainly frequented by tourists who may only be in the city for a weekend.
Seeing the owners response highly reflects on their attitudes towards customers. Avoid.

Absolutely delighted, once again, with the service from the team at Cranachan & Crowdie! This gorgeous hamper (along with more goodies that couldn’t fit in the photo) was delivered to an award winner after a virtual ceremony! The organisers (Women in Property Central Scotland) and the award winner (Abby) were all delighted with it! Couldn’t recommend the team here highly enough - gorgeous, unique gifts and yummy foodie bits! Thank you ladies!

An amazing service. As an expat overseas and away from our mum in her birthday we were truly blessed to find Beth who was able to help us, and even take a photo of our mum with her birthday hamper, when we were at a loss as how to get a wonderful gift to her during this challenging time. We are truly grateful and thankful for your special touches that made our mum smile 😃

I try to go here every time I am home in edinburgh, they have great gifts and treats. Especially the thin salt handmade chocolates - they are seriously to die for. The staff are super friendly too and will usually let you sample things like shortbread and alcohol. Definitely shop here for gifts rather than anywhere else!

A must-go shop if you're ever in Edinburgh. A lovely boutique of high quality hand-made Scottish foods, spirits and objects - a far cry from the tat you get from your average tourist shop! Beth seems to personally know many of the people who make the beautiful things in her shop, which is a nice touch. We'll definitely make it a point to visit again next time we're in town!

Absolutely recommend this store to all of those who are sick and tired of the same Royal Mile souvenir shops over and over again. Cranach and Crowdie offers authentic Scottish souvenirs to bring home, and their offer reaches from foods, to whiskies, to Tweed bags, pet utensils and very beautifully illustrated tea cups. Rest assured, you’ll find a nice souvenir here.

Excellent shop :-) The Staff was so nice, polite and helpful. They have a very good selection of Gifts and Liquor.
They have a very nice selection of Scottish Gin. There is a map were you can loookup where each Gin is coming from. Before I bought my bottle I tried a few ones so I could better decide :-)
I would definitely recommend this shop if you are looking for a bottle of Gin or some gifts.
Thank you :-)
