Leaping Lizards' approach is based upon learning through play using the Early Years Foundation Stage as a framework for our curriculum. We recognise that each child is unique and will develop best at their own pace. Therefore, we always encourage, but never force, children to join in with the activities on offer.
After 8 years teaching in a North London primary school, Parvinder (or Pav as she's known), began looking for a new challenge in education. Having always especially loved working with young children, the prospect of setting up a nursery greatly appealed, and when the right premises became available, Pav jumped at the chance.
Places at Leaping Lizards are offered subject to availability. We therefore operate a waiting list at Leaping Lizards which is used whenever we are full and which is managed on a first-come, first-served basis. The next time a place becomes available it will be offered to the first name on the list.
Our son attended Leaping Lizards for two years and it was the best decision we made. It is rated outstanding by Ofsted and it is outstanding. The staff are absolutely lovely and the children adore them. There is a very happy atmosphere and the staff and children all seem to have fun and enjoy it. The manager Emma goes above and beyond to organise everything and ensure that each day runs smoothly.
