Children are supported to learn and develop and to make the most of their abilities.
The children play in a happy, safe and secure environment alongside staff who ensure that all children are included. There is a secure outdoor play area that the children can access throughout the day. The nursery has its own minibus enabling us to take the children on outings. Each child is cared for by a named Key Person, providing love, security and support and who develops good communication and partnerships with the parents.

Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfill their potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child's experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important.
The Manager of the settings is Carly, she has 15 years' experience in early years. Carly is supernumerary most of the time when in the nursery, therefore available to talk to parents and to ensure that the nursery is well organised, happy and relaxed. We have 3 room leaders who are qualified to at least Level 3 (Early Years) and they lead each room in the setting.
There is a non-refundable registration fee of 40 payable upon booking. This will secure your required place at nursery for 3 months, longer periods would have to be individually agreed with the Manager and a small retainer fee may be payable. If you wish to add lunch on to a morning or afternoon session and drop off/collect your child an hour earlier/later.
We have two large separate gardens for our children to explore in. This is accessed via external stable doors within the rooms and due to the addition of a permanent fence separating the 2 garden areas - we can now implement free flow play where appropriate. Each room in the setting has direct access to the outdoor play area and the children access this area frequently throughout the day.
Our Baby & Early 2's Room caters for children aged 0-30 months with a maximum capacity of 18 children. We do cap this to 12 children to ensure the space is comfortable for staff & children. The room has a large laminate area with both ends of the room having heavy duty vinyl. The one end of the room has a kitchen area where we prepare bottle feeds & sterilise any equipment.

When your child goes to nursery you look forward to picking them up and seeing what they did through the day... my daughter never came home with any of the stuff she made and when she left I asked for all of her stuff (which took months to get) and all I received was a few pieces of paper. I was informed by a former staff member she had a massive folder yet I never received it and in the end gave up trying to chase it up. I can't sone of the staff that worked there during my daughters time there but the lack of organisation and communication was not the best. Parents evening was arranged numerous
