Our new crowdfunder has just launched, with help from the Aviva Community Fund! We're raising money to recycle children's bikes for donation to families on low incomes and children in care. Bicycle Links is a bike shop and social enterprise in the heart of Norwich. We run a busy retail business selling and servicing bikes for a wide range of customers.
As a community interest company we also have social objectives - to have a positive impact on the local community, improve access to cycling, as well as recycling and re-using bicycles and parts.

Services
Our new cycle range includes Gazelle, Raleigh, Orbea, Ridgeback and Surly, plus quality children's Frog bikes. Due to exceptionally high demand across the UK in the last year, new bikes are difficult to come by. Occasionally we can order Gazelle or Orbea, but we expect new Raleigh and Ridgeback stock to become available from 2022 onwards.
135 to 165 buys an upcycled mountain bike with smooth tyres, mudguards and perhaps a luggage rack. 160 to 220 is the average price for a refurbished retro steel racing bike or vintage 3-speed town bike. 300 upward buys a fully refurbished bike with many new parts fitted, to your specification - a secondhand frame with a whole new lease of life!

We are registered with Velorim, a new service that recycles bicycle tyres and tubes, diverting them from landfill. As a result we can take in your old, worn or unwanted tyres for ecological disposal. There is a small charge or 50p per tyre or 20p per inner tube, which represents the cost to us of sending them to Velorim.
We expect the next free spaces to be in autumn 2021. Our new refurbishing centre in Anglia Square is up and running, giving us lots more space for groups of volunteers to spread out safely. Volunteer sessions are currently running on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am to 4pm. The sessions are run by Lorraine and Lucy, and women are positively welcomed to volunteer with us.

I love this bicycle shop and always take my bikes here. These are bicycle people and what they don't know about bikes will not be worth knowing! The staff are friendly and efficient as well as knowledgeable. Whenever I have bought my bikes in they are quick to diagnose, find a solution and are upfront with costs....they always check with you before they start work. I find their prices at least comparable if not better and they will get you moving as quickly as possible. Having said that they are so good that they do have a lot of poorly bikes to see to so they will also give you a time frame but

We have now rented four bikes on three separate occasions from Bicycle Links. They have always been friendly and helpful. The bikes, though simple, were all in excellent working condition and they made sure we had everything we needed and making adjustments so we were comfortable on the bikes. We'll definitely return whenever we have visitors or need our own bikes serviced.

After using Bicycle Links a number of times I thought it was about time I wrote a review. What a fantastic and professional service I ha e received, the service received is personal like I'm the only customer what matters.
The first time I used them was to repair my mountain bike replacing the chain and gears. Very reasonable service and fast.
… Since I have borrowed an electric bike free of charge through Norfolk County council. I was nervous at first but Bicycle Links showed me how to use it and put my mind at ease. I then purchased a second-hand electric bike independently, unfortunately

You can’t beat this place for quality, excellence and knowledge. From the moment I walked in Tim was a fantastic fountain of knowledge and eager to help.
I was enrolling on the 4 week “ Push Ahead” scheme where you loan a bike out with all the lights/pump etc and if you are happy with it you can buy either that bike for a reduced amount a new bike or previously owned bike .
The thing that really struck me was how eager Tim was to please with every question I asked irrelevant how silly it must have sounded coming from someone who hadn’t been on a bike for over 30 years however any question
