Both are qualified judges and referees in Sport Ju-jitsu with national and international experience. As a member of Kokoro Kai you will also have the opportunity to meet and train with top instructors from overseas at annual national and International events. All Kokoro Kai Instructors are fully qualified and CRB checked.

Welcome to Kokoro Kai's Little Warriors Programme designed specially for 4-6 year olds. It is a gentle introduction to the basic martial art skills, but with emphasis on FUN, EXCITEMENT and plenty of REWARDS along the way! At Little Warriors, we learn more than martial arts. The programme will help to prepare them for life, or at least their start in school.
This is a very well established club of over 30 years. It is run by Chief Instructors, Mark and Claire Fitz-Gerald and is well known throughout the area. There is a large Junior section from age 6 upwards. The Senior class has grades ranging from novice through to 6th Dan. Another very well established club of 30 years run by Chief Instructors Mark and Claire Fitz-Gerald.
Popular belief is that the nunchaku was originally a short flail used to thresh rice (separate the grain from the husk). The tonfa, also known as Tong Fa or Tuifa, is a traditional Okinawan weapon from which the modern side-handled police baton is derived. Sai are often believed to have originated as an agricultural tool used to measure stalks, plow fields, plant rice or to hold cart wheels in place, though the evidence for this is limited.
