AWFUL COMPANY. no bikes to sell, false promises and advertising. The customer service is questionable at the least. It’s problem after problem with these bikes I honestly wouldn’t bother and stick to the well known brands like the other reviews state. I was promised call backs by the manager I think her name is Tessie? Obviously no call as no care for the customer. Stay well away and save your time and money

Worst customer service and motorcycle company Chinese motorcycles are alot of time effort and money wasted I had a herald mirage and I had it for a year since day one I have had problem and got them fixed as it was under warranty over the year of ownership my motorcycle has spent more time in the dealership and I mean it 😂 it spent over 6 months in the dealership than in my garage I was only able to ride less then 2000 miles as it would brake down over heat and much more and at the end I sent it to manufacturer and the changed the engine is what they said but I don't believe that story to much

Bought a Mirage 125 for my son in January and it has been back to the retailer 6 times and back to Herald twice. I understand that things can go wrong but the communication is a joke. I was told by Eathan ( area sales manager) that I would be getting a call from Tess ( commercial manager), 5 days later and still no call.
The problems with the bike have included the following, faulty ECU, faulty speed display, and the latest problem is valve clearance. Each problem resulted in my son without his bike for over a week, but this time his bike was took back on June 23rd 2021 and still not back on 15th

Have had my Herald Maverick for a few years now and have enjoyed every mile on it, no issues and have even had some really great chats with the Herald team at Exhibitions (Prior to COVID!) Would recommend these affordable, reliable bikes! the additional steps Herald takes make all of the difference!

This review is based on my experience with herald and owning a 125 cc maverick. The bikes ok for the money, they certainly look good and as this is my first bike I have no other to compare the quality too.
The pros are :
The bike looks smart as, i get a fair amount of comments from people who like the look of it.
I'm told the engines, based on the gn125 are solid.
Parts are cheap and miles are cheap, 80+ mpg
Faster than I thought it would be.
I have had the following problems within the first 1200 km :
Incorrect instructions in the manual provided for oil changes resulting in the neutral

Excellent service!
Called Herald to make a parts enquiry. Chrissie was very helpful and directed me to an alternate supplier who could supply the OM part at a saving.
Marvellous........part ordered......bank account happy.
I previously ordered a few parts direct from Herald and found them to be as helpful then, they had the right parts to me in a couple of days.

I purchased a herald mirage a year ago and in this period of time l haven't had transport for 4 months. The first bike repeatedly broke down and had severe rusting. I had to pay for legal fees and independent reports just to get it replaced. Then after a few months the second bike was recalled under safety issues. Now l have been waiting for 7 weeks and still i have not received a refund or explanation, even though herald have my bike back and in their possesion! If you want an opinion I would tell you to avoid herald and get a push bike with pedals rather than a engine!!! An absolute shambles

Contacted Herald god knows how many times asking if they were interested in taking a look at my Scrambler which I'd recently customised. Sent numerous Emails along with photos but nothing. Looking at Heralds website it gave me the impression that they were keen on customers photos of their Herald motorcycle. Because it was cheap to buy I soley bought the Scrambler as a project to specifically customise to my own tastes. Spending well over 2k in the process. I really did think Herald would have been interested especially after seeing them at the Bike Shed show in London and they give the impression

Herald Motor Company have made attractive looking motorcycles from mostly Chinese parts and adding some European ones. I bought my fully warranted Herald classic 125cc new for this reason in 2015 as a gap year student. The Suzuki derived engine from the 1980’s is considered reliable and was. However electrical problems soon started developing, such as the brake light failing, the ignition not working in cold weather, and the headlights regularly flickering or completely going out whilst I steered around corners.
I tried to sort the problems out with Herald but 4 months after I had notified them
