David has over 15 years' experience in the industry, having started as a Saturday boy just like his father.
Over the years he's worked in every area of the business, so knows the day-to-day running of it inside out. He now looks after the day-to-day operation of Burts, which includes keeping a watchful eye over the sales and buying side of the business. All our beef is 100% British, and farm to fork traceable. We only source beef that is from the finest herds, that are kept to the highest welfare standards.

Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art premises are some of the most up-to-date and advanced in the whole of the south of England. Our cutting facility has dedicated areas for red, white and game meat and our FSA approval (number UK2541 EC) means we're kept up to date about - and comply with - all changes in the law.
Burts Catering Butchers is based in Bexhill on the East Sussex coast, but our customers are located throughout the South East of England. Our modern fleet of refrigerated vehicles deliver wholesale meat and other produce to customers in Sussex, Kent and Surrey on a daily basis. We also deliver further afield by arrangement, so if you're outside these areas, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
No-one likes complaining, so along with our carefully selected products, we've put processes in place to make sure you won't have to. Our butchers work from bespoke customer specification sheets which we produce in-house, which guarantees every product you order comes packed and cut exactly the same way each time.

Extremely dissatisfied. I had a few occasions when the delivery I received was not up to the same standard as the previous delivery. When I called to discuss was told that was all they could get hold of. I also had one occasion where I was delivered smaller eggs than I had ordered but charged more for them. When I called to question this I was told again that this was all they could get hold of and the price had gone up. I pointed out that I would appreciate being advised of this before the delivery, as I was having to double up sometimes to give our customers the same quantity! I once received
