Services
We carry out both NHS and private eye test. Your eye test will be tailored to your needs. Prior to the eye examination, you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire so we can find out about you and any concerns you may have with your eyes. An in depth eye test is carried out, including fields and pressures for glaucoma.
Deterioration in your eyesight can be gradual and often go unnoticed. That is why a regular eye test can help detect certain conditions early and maintain optimum vision. Cataract is when the clear lens inside your eye becomes misty and yellow. The process is gradual and usually occurs as we get older.
You protect your skin from sun damage, so why not your eyes? Exposure to sunlight can cause premature aging of the eyes, leading to conditions such as cataract. Mandeville Opticians have a selection of sunglasses to suit all budgets, lifestyles and ages. We can also provide you with prescription sunglasses in single vision or multifocals.
There is no reason why you should not get your eyes tested. If you are over 60, you are entitled to a free NHS eye test and the added benefit of 20% off your spectacles. This includes frames, lenses and all upgrades (Terms and conditions apply). We have a range of complete spectacles including anti glare and scratch resistant lenses which start from 50.
