Services
Overleat seeks to provide the highest standards of person centred care to our residents. Individual care plans are formed with the resident and their family. They are then regularly reviewed and updated. Residents are actively encouraged to exercise choice and to enjoy life to their full potential: physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Here at Overleat accommodation is provided for 13 residents in single rooms, some of the rooms are en-suite and the decor is to a very high standard. Two lounges are available for those taking part in activities, enjoying company or we have a lounge for them quieter moments. Residents can enjoy locally sourced, freshly cooked meals with their friends, and the garden is a perfect tonic for those who enjoy spending time outside.
Overleat employs an activities coordinator who will encourage resident's participation wherever possible & according to their wishes and with a view to rehabilitation. There are televisions in the lounge. Walks in the gardens are encouraged. Quiz nights can be very popular. Hobbies and general leisure pursuits are encouraged and we try to ensure that lifetime hobbies are continued and new ones taken up.
Here at Overleat we understand that not everybody requires long-term, permanent care, and that is why we also provide respite care. Respite care, which also encompasses day care and holiday care, is aimed predominantly at people who care for a loved one, and who may benefit from a short break. With respite care, people can stay with us for just a few hours, a week, a month, or perhaps even longer.
