Services
We are a small, independent and individual home priding ourselves on the very high quality service and accommodation we offer. Located between Plymouth and the South Hams, near the waterside village of Oreston in Plymstock, you will find we are near The Broadway shopping precinct, community services, Radford Park and lakes, Plymstock United Church, and just outside our front door local buses to / from Plymouth City Centre.
We totally welcome friends and families of loved ones to visit and will support you with flexible timings. Later in the evening we may be busier so it may take us a little longer to answer the door - but we will! And we are delighted if you wish to assist your loved one at any time of the day. Little things like assisting with teeth brushing is a really lovely bonding for close relatives.
If someone you know is considering moving into a supported environment, such as our care home, why not take this opportunity to visit The Oasis. Our room prices are dependent on type of room and en suite facilities (some of our rooms having wet rooms).

All accommodation prices include food / meals, refreshments, most musical entertainment, all utility services (electricity, gas, water, council tax), laundry, house-keeping and 24 hour care and support.

My experience of The Oasis Care Home working as a freelance administrator is a very positive one from June 19 to date. The Directors and staff all work extremely hard and long long hours to ensure the very best of care to all the folk living there. The surroundings are very pleasant, there are many activities and entertainement too. There is constant monitoring and new initiatives introduced for the benefit of the residents and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit and see for yourself.

Where do I start? The Oasis as a whole is wonderful! The staff and managers are the most caring and considerate care home staff that I have met. They go above and beyond on a daily basis to make the care and dignity for my Mother who can have challenging behaviour, first class. The owners Steve and Tui are always there making sure that thing are done right, they take such an interest in the home you can see they love their roles and it shows. There is always something going on or someone coming in to provide entertainment for the residents and my Mother is very comfortable and happy. We are always

I worked here a while back with an agency and I wasn’t impressed.
A female staff member shouted at a resident because she wanted the toilet (the team leader over heard and said she often does it because she needs a cigarette) I believe the lady was a 100 years old.
Everyone apart from a few with capacity are sat in the lounge listening to the same old cd on repeat.
Staff seem to think they are a cut above the rest but I can assure you I wouldn’t put my family members into this home.
It looks like it’s all jazz hands but dig a little deeper and things aren’t what they seem.

My grandma lived here and she really liked it. The staff were very friendly and the food is of an amazing quality. Sometimes I just went there for the food and not to visit my grandma :D

I've visited this lovely care home several times and am inspired by the sincere welcome I get from staff and genuine warmth they show to the people that live there. Its a very special home and I only wish other care homes could be as good.

Just read your review Bethany- and I would suggest strongly, as a relative, that if you have any concerns to speak to the Manager or Owner,as your comments may frighten many relatives.Speaking as a relative of a Resident and as a Heath Professional, generally the care my relative receives is kind and considerate, and the Carers' do the best job they can with the resources they have, so only Management should be alerted to any of your concerns NOT posted on a faceless Google comment site.

My Mother stayed at The Oasis care home for three weeks respite this August, to give my Father a well-earned break. I was most in pleased in all aspects of this home. The manager was very understanding when I expressed my concerns about how unsettled I expected my mother to be. I was most grateful that not only were the staff at the home most accommodating on our arrive but they spent over an hour with us settling my mother in. It was nice that all the staff encouraged my mother to join in the activities - it was very reassuring that she was engaged in lots of different things to do. I have booked

Horrific there. I watched the manager feeding a lady who clearly still had food in her mouth! Was rushing her. Some of the staff seem ok. But most of them are horrible. Shouting at their service users. Who do they think they are? Would never ever put any of my family members in this care home!!!!!!
