This is one of the friendliest and most attractive site that we have ever visited. The facilities are excellent and the pitches are spacious. Such a quiet site too even though it was very busy. The location was ideal being only a short walk into Ripley and an even shorter walk to the bus stop with frequent buses to Ripon and Harrogate. From Harrogate very frequent buses to many lovely towns. We extended our 4 nights stay to 7 nights because there were so many places to visit. Yorkshire folk are great. Going North was so much quicker than going South from Wirral in Cheshire.

Great location for visiting the local area, however, not sure where the 5 star rating comes from.
The pool area was very restricted and the advertised sauna, jacuzzi and changing facilities were closed.
The shower block was not heated and and was very cold on a rainy day and is in need of modernisation. We were also unable to tune our TV in our motorhome due to issues with the signal in the area. The site is well kept and close to the town of Ripley.

Just got back from a 2 night stay with our friends. What a great little place this is. Lovely adventure park and football pitch for the kids to run around on and a indoor swimming pool (you book to reserve your time slot). Short walk to Ripley which is a beautiful little village, few nice shops and a good pub. And to top it off, a Fish and chip… van comes to the site at 5am every Saturday, must be one of the best I’ve had too. Owner is very friendly and efficient where nothing is too much trouble, even if you’ve forgot the bread to make a bacon sarny! 10 out 10! We will be back

I arrived on site just to setup the caravan and awning for my daughter arriving later that day and uncoupled the car and parked it on the grass. After setting up I walked down the camp shop for some milk and a seasonal approached the wife and told her to tell me to move my car. Nothing anywhere near it and not bothering anyone apart from this guy.… Me being me I left it there until I finished and no sign of anyone it appears the man thought he could bully the wife
The next day we had gone home and the daughter was on the kids park no one else just her the 3 kids and the dog and the dog had

Great site! been here a few times and will certainly come here again, really well kept and facilities are really clean. Had a bit of confusion this time as was asked if we were putting awning up, we were told we had to turn van around and put awning other side so there was 3m between us and my mate in next van, shortly after we were told we had to… move it as we were too close to pitch at other side!!! explained we couldn't put awning on the hard core and I was asked why! surely if you own a camp sire you know an awning needs to go on grass, anyway it was all sorted but could have been avoided

A lovely site in a fantastic area. We spent a week here and loved it. There’s lots to do in the area and it’s a short walk into Ripley which is stunning.
The dog walk is a little short but handy and the pitches could perhaps do with a bit of screen between them, but otherwise we really liked the site and will be back.
