After having worked in many of London's top sushi restaurants for over 4 years, it was becoming harder to ignore the urge of owning my own restaurant. With the insatiable desire of my best friend, we decided to start our own Japanese restaurant journey and selfishly take our own piece of satisfaction for making people happy.

Fish was not fresh at all. 2 yrs ago me and my husband celebrated our anniversary at sushi cafe. The food and staff was really good. My auntie was craving for sushi and I recommended sushi cafe. We travelled from peckham rye to the place. At first it was fine but later on as we ordered a lot there was this young chinese lady who's staring at us the whole time while we are eating in front of our table my mum asked her why she is staring at us she then said "she's keeping an eye just in case we put the food in our bag" she started talking in chinese dialect and walk away!! Oh my god ! We started

I think this is one of the best sushi restaurants in the south west of London but before you go you need to know what to expect. This isn't a Sushi Samba vibe, it's authentic and no frills in terms of the dining experience. I go with friends and my partner but we go for the food not a romantic experience. It's great, the food is better than more pretentious offerings but be careful not to order too much otherwise they'll be rolling you out instead of rolling the sushi.

It's a cosy and nice place to dinner or lunch. We had a very good deal with a discount voucher. There weren't any drink included, so we've ordered a mi so soup too. We had the sushi deal, but next time we will get the hot food deal. After checking the prices on the menu, I have to say the prices are very reasonable and the service was excellent. I'll recommend this place to my friends.

You cannot call this “all you can eat” if you’re going to impose this amount of rules. It’s eat as much as you like for £19.80 each but you can only order 3 rounds and you have 1:30h to finish. It felt rushed. It’s not like you can enjoy the evening in this place. The salmon teriyaki portion was literally 1 sashimi slice. Extremely overpriced for what you can get. Not enough variety and also lots of things on the menu, for example the sashimis, you have to pay extra. You can eat much better quality at a lower price somewhere else. I won’t be back.

The fish was not fresh. They really should add the service charge on top of the menu istead of telling you once you get inside, instead of £17.99 it's £19.80.
It's not really all you can eat as you only get a limit of 12 dishes per round which in total is 3 rounds. They also add way too much rice and it was warm under the sushi, I assume to feel you up more so you order less, me and my partner had to stop at round 2 and we did not order a lot because of the amount of rice compared to fish whereas we would eat plenty elsewhere.
For the price you pay and the amount we ate, it was not worth it

The worse Japanese restaurant in my life. I went to the place for a buffet. I should be charged only 17.99 as per menu. But in the end I paid 19.9 because of 10 percent service charge.
The buffet rules are super weird. We can only order for 4 rounds. And they even give us the time schedule. Is this the factory or restaurant?
The restaurant is run by Chinese, I supposed. The food is not tasty and far from original. Fish are not fresh.
Will never come back

The best, reasonably priced Japanese food i have ever had, you can get up to 6 portions per person (which filled me up to the point where i couldn’t move) and they are reasonably sized. They do multiple kinds of sushi, with loads of toppings, as well as yakisoba and noodle soup. Some of the noodles dishes are smaller so you can eat more different food! they also have fried side dishes such as chicken karaage and mixed tempura!! overall my favourite Japanese restaurant experience so far in terms of food and quality. However staff kept rushing us, and we got charged the wrong amount of money. Our

First, We booked a table for 1 pm,arrived 15 min late and was told our time started from the time of booking! That would be acceptable if they were busy and people were waiting to be seated, but the restaurant was almost empty the whole time we were there!
The sushi was old and smelly! Both fish and the rice were dry! Like they’ve been made night before and not fresh at all! The fish in the rolls were even worse, they were almost rotten!
The staff were friendly, but they were staring at us the whole time!

This is the actual place for sushi lovers.
I was quite happy to know that they were running EOTHO scheme on their buffet do I decided to visit not once but twice.
Their seaweed salad and chicken teriyaki will simply take you to heaven while their chicken katsu sushi would make you go more.
The place is small and clean. Staff was quite attentive and service is quite quick that's why you are allowed to spend only 1.5 hours in that place for buffet. Servers are not chatty and smiley thou except one which was Angie.
£16.98 is the original price
£10.20 Service charge included was the discounted

I was craving decent sushi and the misleading 4 stars on yelp and Google maps lead me here for all you can eat. This is really not sushi. Chinese run restaurant masquerading as a Japanese restaurant while Kpop is constantly run as background music. Salmon skin roll destroyed the roof of my mouth worse than any crusty baguette, tuna was dry and gross. Tempura was soggy and bready. Salmon was okay but was the smallest piece of sashimi I have ever tried. It was cut into a foreign triangular piece of a serving. Weird, size of half a normal piece elsewhere. Dumplings were MSG filled instant frozen

This was one of the weirdest dining experiences we've had to date - and this is coming from a person who had a server fail to understand the concept of a lime.
The scene: the cafe was completely empty. Upon entering, the manager had to confer with servers to see if they had enough seats for two people. She then informed us that we had a tight 90 minutes to eat our food. She asked if we wanted a la carte or buffet. We replied: a la carte. The question was repeated at least 3 times, as the manager pushed us to consider the buffet. She finally gave us one menu, then returned approximately 45

Incredible setup for meals. 17 pounds for all you can eat sushi. Did not try anything that I didn't like. You can get appetizers, soups, multiple different types of sushi, and just about anything you can think of for that price.
I would recommend not ordering anything that costs extra because all that is included is great. The staff is super friendly and helpful in teaching you how the system works and what to order.

Came here for lunch after hearing about it from a few friends. Upon entering we were greeted by the waitress pushing the door closed in front of us so we couldn't enter right away, then coming back to tell us (fairly rudely) we were too late to have the buffet (it was just past 2 PM on a Saturday). We asked for menus but decided to take our business elsewhere, since they clearly didn't want it.
On the plus side the sushi looked decent. I'd say I'd come back and try it some time but meh, I don't live near Battersea and it didn't look worth the trip. If you do make

Wonderful sushi and very affordable, too. I have only ever taken-away, the restaurant is usually packed (i presume because of the quality and the value of the all you can eat buffet). Service was excellent.
It will be a regular for me going forward and I plan to take advantage of the various discounts and bargains, such as 25% off before 7pm for takeaway...just brilliant :)

The food saved them on this occasion, there was one young gentleman in there serving that was on the ball and very polite but the woman didn't seem interested, maybe she had a bad day.
The food was outstanding and very filling and you got so much food for the price, plus they let a few cans of coke slide on the final bill, it was a little disappointed they wouldn't make my partner a orange and lemonade.
Although I know placed like this can't offer a wide range of choice, a couple more would of been nice, if it wasn't for these few points they would of got a big fat 5!

I heard they offer "all you can eat" so I went there with friends!
With that course, you can choose anything you want on the special menu which includes sashimi, sushi, tempura, miso soup, a la carte and so on and you can order many times except sashimi. Then it costs £15! Crazy!
The each plates have good volume and freshness was ok.
They served delicious food, but I didn't feel it was authentic Japanese food.
The restaurant was very crowded so I sometimes felt difficulty to call staff to order, and it took a bit long to get the meal. But it means it's a popular restaurant

We have been here once before with a Groupon voucher, so thought we'd come back for another try. It's an all you can eat Buffett for £14.99 per person. You order off the menu though and can choose any of the items up to three times. The starters are a bit of a Chinese combination with things like prawn toast and chicken satay. Then you have a variety of sushi rolls to choose from, including sashimi and nigiri. They also have noodles and soups to choose from. There isn't a huge selection but enough to fill you up, we didn't even order from the three rounds, we were stuffed after

We visited for my birthday dinner after I tried to find an AYCE sushi place closer to my home. I had been seeing Sushi Cafe on Groupon for ages with mixed reviews and decided to give it a try - without the Groupon - since their full price is the same as with the voucher. At the same price, I may as well give it all to the business (Groupon takes 45%).
When we walked in at 7pm the restaurant was about 1/3 full. We had no reservations and the first thing we were asked upon entering was if we had "a deal". When we stated we didn't, we were promptly seated. We didn't have a reservation

I was quite hopeful that this place would be good after reading the reviews about the all you can eat sushi. I found it below average in food quality. The deep fried items on the menu had too much batter. The sushi wasn't impressive and I found the taste a little bland. Considering the price, I didn't find it a good value for my money. The staff was nice to explain how the all you can eat works. They state that you can only place the sashimi order once, which is fine. But I tried to order 3 orders and apparently it's only 1 order per person (which isn't written anywhere). They

Simply delicious!
I was brought here by friends who told me it was as good as sushi they've had in Japan, and it didn't disappoint. I was suspicious at first, especially as I didn't think anything could come close to my favourite Pham Sushi, but this place is really good! It's a bit out of the way in Battersea but the sushi is really fresh and tasty! They also have a fantastically smooth and creamy green tea ice cream to finish, and the pricing represents great value! They even have a buffet option during the week :)
I can't wait to go back!
