After starting our business by writing and publishing one of the first proper mountain bike guidebooks 20 years ago, Rough Ride Guide has come a long way since then.

We currently design and coordinate mountain bike events for various charities such as the British Heart Foundation, we run our own events such as the popular King Alfred's Way supported ride and our London to Brighton Off Road at Night ride and do the regular route guides and articles for MBUK the UK's biggest MTB publication. We also sell a range of great products in our online shop.
Services
Our trailblazing guidebooks, where Rough Ride Guide made a name for itself in the early noughties, are still as unique today as they were nearly 20 years ago. Their features include a ringbinder folder format where multi-optional routes are plotted on removable, water resistant pages. We'll even send you free GPX files of the routes if you contact us after purchasing any of the books.
With 20 years of experience exploring and writing route guides across the UK, here at Rough Ride Guide, our main aim is to help you get out and have some amazing adventures on your bike.

If you'd like a fullly signed route to ride, with all the logistics, facilities and support from an expert team on hand, join our small, friendly social events, whether it's to undertake an epic challenge such as our London to Brighton Off-Road @ Night or one of our more relaxed Brewery & Vineyard rides.Join our mailing list to be the first to find out some new and exciting events and group rides we have planned.
