We all know that finding good child care is not easy. When I was looking for a nursery for my own children, I knew exactly what I wanted: a nursery that was small enough for the children to know everyone and make friends; and in a place where they could play in the fresh air and enjoy the surroundings, and not be in the same room all day.
Our first Sixpenny Nursery in Devizes was founded in 1989 in the village of Nursteed. With easy access and lots of parking, Sixpenny Nursery Roundway offers all-year-round day care and term time only child care options. The nursery specialises in outdoor learning, play and exercise to produce happy, healthy, active children.
We offer quality child care 52 weeks a year except for public and bank holidays. Our opening times can be viewed here. Our child care nurseries are in Roundway Hill, Devizes, and Hopton, Devizes. All offer day care (all year round), term time only child care options and holiday clubs 0 - 8 years. There are three things you need to think about when deciding what child care you need.
Freshly prepared meals and a balanced, nutritional diet are important for happy growing children. We have our own trained, experienced chef who provides a tasty and nutritious menu for both our nurseries. The meals and snacks we provide throughout the day at our nurseries use fresh ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.
Government funding for free child care for 3- and 4-year olds can be used at both our Sixpenny nurseries. All 3 and 4-year-olds in England are entitled to 15 hours of funded child care or early education each week for 38 weeks of the year (universal funding) or 30 hours, subject to eligibility extended child care.

Very impressed with Six Pennies, Roundway. Leaving baby for the first time was very hard but they made the process exceptionally easy and have been very supportive. All staff throughout the nursery always have a smile on their faces and happily greet you. In the baby room the staff exude experience. My daughter's first tantrum was when she had to leave after her first day. She is always happy and animated on pick up. Daily reports are great and speed up pick up.
