Services
Finding quality childcare is a challenge. You want to be confident that they will look after your child as you would while being flexible to work around your family lifestyle. We now have three nurseries, two in Calne and one in Lyneham, all offering the highest quality of childcare. You can rest assured that the safety, welfare and happiness of our children are our number one priority.
We have three different premises in Wiltshire, with two located in Calne and one Lyneham. In each of our nurseries, our aim is the same: to provide a caring, safe, and nurturing environment in which each child can grow as an individual. We want to give every child as many new, interesting, and stimulating experiences as we can, developing their knowledge, imagination, and personality.
In Calne, we have two premises within walking distance of each other. Lickhill Road takes babies, toddlers and pre-school children. Our baby room is very much a home from home that has a range of open-ended, tactile resources and activities that help babies develop their motor skills and learning to control their bodies.
We work hard to create a 'home from home' environment that provides a gentle transition from home to nursery life. Our Sunny Days Children's Nurseries in Calne and Lyneham offer bright and stimulating baby rooms which are full of age appropriate toys and equipment.
The rooms have plenty of space for babies to explore their environment as well as having an outdoor 'baby garden' and a designated area for messy activities such as painting, water and sand activities. Our baby room is very much a home from home that has a range of open-ended, tactile resources and activities that help babies develop their motor skills and aid learning, encouraging babies to make their own choices.

Sunny Days toddler areas provide children with plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and engage in stimulating play experiences. Our toddler rooms enable children to make their own choices and help them with their desire to become independent. Each toddler room offers a range of activities for children, including a cosy corner where children can rest, or listen to stories and investigate books.

Would highly recommend Sunny Days. My little one has been attending since just before she turned 6 months old and has thrived in this setting. The staff are nurturing, kind, happy and always helpful. With the uncertainty we have all experienced with COVID they have kept parents updated of any changes which have been within guidance of the local… authority. My little one is now 19 months and is developing amazingly thanks to the staff. As parents we couldn’t be happier with the care she receives and we look forward to our future with Sunny Days. A massive thank you to all the staff

My son has attended sunny days at lickhill road for some time. We have had to remove him and take him elsewhere. I am currently owed money that was to cover his lunches and snacks for a month but have been refused any refund which I am entitled too. Today was his last day. I picked him up and immediately noticed he was covered in mud from top to… toe even though he has a full wet weather all in one in his bag along with wellies. They have been told numerous times to use this gear when playing outside or doing messy play as it ruins his clothes. I also had to ring up when we got home as he

I would recamend both the Nursery and preschool. My son is now coming to end of his Sunny days Journey and it really has been a Sunny one. We will miss all the staff from His key worker from Nursery who still my son talks about now to his key workers now. He has learnt , changed and developed in a nurting setting and has really thrived. The… activities that were held was a chance to get involved with the children. Although I ahve worked and missed a few my sons grandparents have all enjoyed it -I mayself have compleatley changed my view and would never think twice about sending a child to

Had a lovely time at the Mother's day pre-school & nursery sessions yesterday. Both my boys really enjoyed decorating cups before planting their sunflower seeds. Other fun activities at the sessions included… playdough cupcakes, colouring in & sand play (not forgetting yummy cake/fruit snacks & drinks for all!). It was also nice for them to play with their friends & for me to meet some other mummy's/grandparents. Look forward to more sessions in the future :-)

Updated review: My daughter presented us with the most wonderful bag of Christmas goodies after preschool yesterday. Some amazing keepsakes featuring her artwork and photos (I don't want to give away too much in case other parents haven't had theirs yet!) which she was so proud and excited to be able to give to us. Such thought and organisation had… gone into making sure all the children had this experience, just showing what a great place sunny days is 🌞❤️
Previous review: Love this place!!! My son is absolutely thriving at the nursery and I was able to 'stay and play

Just returned from stay and play at Calne Sunny Days. Freddie and I had a great time joining in with the fun and creative activities! It was so nice to see how relaxed and well behaved Freddie is there. I can't praise sunny days and the staff enough. When Freddie first started nursery I was overwhelmed with guilt from leaving him and constantly… worried, but the staff were amazing and put up with my constant phone calls checking if Freddie was ok. Freddie has come on leaps and bounds since starting sunny days. Although Freddie may have his favourites, All the staff are lovely there and certainly
