Services
Robert, Janet and Ian are clearly knowledgeable, experienced and genuine animal lovers. There has never been the slightest cause for concern during the many years we have taken our dogs there, we have complete confidence in Latchets. Our dog loves the kennels, she rushes to greet everyone on arrival, and tail wagging, goes to her kennel.
Why not treat your dog during their stay? We can bath your dog and clip their nails if necessary, so that they smell clean and fresh ready for collection. Alternatively, why not have your dog professionally groomed? Our resident City & Guilds trained groomer Beverly Roe is at Latchets from Monday - Thursday & Saturday from 10am - 6pm.
Our popular obedience training and puppy classes are conveniently located between Bristol and Bath, in Keynsham and are available to dogs of all ages, including puppies. I have been using this kennel for the last 3 years with my Dachshund Fantastic Jeffrey.
The owners have been nothing but amazing. They have had him for time long periods of time as well as a few hours.
I really like how Strict they are making sure all their jabs are in date, that each time they make sure that Jeffrey is fit and health to stay in the kennels.
I also really appreciate that they don’t mix males and females dogs together. You can tell the owners of this kennel, have years of experience training police dogs as Jeffrey instantly respects them every time I drop him off. I also feel

I Would like to thank the staff at Latchets boarding kennel for looking after Jack my 8 month old jack Russell terrier. Of course I was apprehensive about leaving him for the first time. The staff were very welcoming and exsperienced. On returning back from weeks holiday jack was in good health and happy. I have no problem in recommending there first class service at a very reasonable cost. Thank you Staff, Mark Harrison. Ps Jack said see you in the future!

I have put my two dogs Ozzy a Wiemeramer and Dillon a Huntaway both very loved and Ozzy high maintenance in lots of ways in to stay with Janet and Roberto in July and September this year and cannot believe how happy and healthy they have been both times. I am so completely happy with all of the service we have had they even had a nice bath the first time they stayed which is offered on site in their groom room. I would defiantly recommend everyone who needs to put their dogs in a kernel to take them to Janet and Roberto but please don't book the weeks I want. Thank you again for looking after my

We have recently moved to the area and our dog can be quite a handful. She has benefited immensely from visiting Latchets and we can't recommend these kennels enough. Ronni (our dog!) always comes back happy and smelling great! The price is fantastic and we will be coming back as long as they are open. 5 star service

We have been using Latchets Kennels regularly for the past year as we both travel a lot for work. I have full confidence in the team at Latchets, they are "dog people" and understand that every dog has their own personalities and requirements. My dogs, both rescues, greet them on arrival like they do when I collect them so I know that they are treated well. One of my dogs has hip dysplasia which is managed with medication and they take great care in ensuring she has eaten her meds when she is supposed to. We recommend Latchets and will continue to use them.

As a first time user of kennels for our 7 month old lab I was a more than a little nervous on leaving him. On picking him up after a four day stay it was obvious that he loved being there and had bonded with all the staff strongly. He clearly felt safe, well looked after and confident! The individual care that the owners and their staff give to the dogs is second to none. I would highly recommend them and will be using them whenever we need to board our dog in the future.

Went to take my dog there today, and the lady assumed my dog had kennel cough ,took him straight to the vets to be checked he was coughing because he pulls on the lead, the vet said he was completely clear but she would not take my word for it and judged him within 2 minutes of meeting him and we got turned away. I totally understand that she couldnt risk it but to be honest she was far to quick to judge. Do not rely on this kennel if you have a holiday booked seems to me they were overbooked and needed an excuse to turn us away . Never again.

Just when we thought our home was the only place where our dog (American Akita) would feel comfortable!!
We have used Latchets twice now and we will continue to use them again and again and again... Simply because the service throughout is exceptional. We could even see on collecting our dog Bruno there were clear signs of great care. The staff at Latchets will go out of their way to ensure the experience of the customers (including animals) is of great standard. The owners themselves also have time to talk and provide advice in relation to your dog/cat etc. Since using Latchets I have spoken
