The Pet Studio was set up in 2000, initially as a dog grooming salon, which was then expanded to include luxury dog boarding kennels. The Pet Studio is based in the village of Congresbury, North Somerset, 10 minutes from Junction 21 of the M5. We're surrounded by beautiful countryside in one of the most beautiful areas of North Somerset.

Services
Our groomers love dogs and love grooming your hairy hounds! We have grooming salons in both Congresbury and Nailsea and all staff have been taught by Liza who is a fully qualified Dog Grooming Assessor and teacher of the City & Guilds Dog Grooming Qualifications.
Our main grooming salon in Nailsea (47 High Street BS48 1AW) is completely open plan and you can see all of the dogs being groomed with love and care from our highly experienced groomers, managed by our Salon Manager, Danielle.Our other salon, based in Congresbury is now run as a Dog Grooming Teaching Academy where your dog can also be groomed and used as a training dog, under full supervision of Liza!

We understand how important it is to know that your dog will be left in a calm and relaxed state and that they'll have plenty of interaction and stimulation through play and exercise. Our spacious, modern kennels have individual 3 metre runs attached and separate heated sleeping areas.
All of our dogs are walked three times; our first walk is before breakfast at around 7.30am, we then have a Midday walk followed by the evening walk which is after dinner which is served at around 5pm.All the walks are in our field and in between there is lots of social contact. We play Classic FM on the radio for our guests as we have found that this provides our dogs with the most relaxing time whilst they are with us.

I've very much enjoyed the dog grooming course and it exceeded my expectations as I did way more than I expected to do practically wise. The training environment was excellent - a lovely little well equipped salon with everything needed for students. Thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Pet Studio. Learning has been a fun filled experience with Liza and she has always explained everything for us as students to understand.
The Pet Studio in Congresbury, North Somerset teaches City & Guilds Dog Grooming Qualifications, Level 2 & Level 3 as well as our own tailored courses. Our courses are made to suit and will vary in length; from a 1 day course specialising in one breed style. This is mainly aimed at owners looking to groom their own dog.

Absolutely brilliant! Delighted with how my 2 lovable but sometimes difficult border terriers have been looked after for the past 19 days. This is the first time they have come away from kennels happy little dogs. Usually withdrawn and off their food but not here! Highly recommended and wouldn't use anywhere else ever again. Thank you

Cannot fault these kennels. I have an ancient basset hound who stays on a regular basis. The care is second to none and the team love your dog as much as YOU do. They have been superb when I needed help with Bert during a recent hospital stay. Bert loves his stays at the Pet Studio and always comes home relaxed and happy. A real 5 star service in EVERY way.

Absolutely fantastic kennels. I have just left my 3 springers for the first time in kennels. They are 7, 6 and 4. Ross made me feel very relaxed in leaving them - very reassuring. The kennels are immaculately clean. The dogs appeared very happy when collecting them - I was even shown a photo of them to show me how content they were. Highly recommended and I will definitely use again.
