Services
Lucy graduated from City University in 2006 with BSc (hons). Lucy has a MSc in Clinical Optometry and Professional Certificate in Glaucoma, as well as being accredited to carry out Minor Eye Care Services and Emergency appointments. Lucy has a wealth of experience in different areas of Optometry, and currently holds several professional roles.
Our standard private eye examination is 45 minutes (much longer than the average), which allows us time to listen to any concerns you may have, perform a thorough examination of your eyes, explain our findings and advise you on all the options available. We don't feel this is something that should be rushed.

On a day trip to Folkestone walked in with an eye emergency. Josh was warm and sympathetic and arranged for me to be seen by the optometrist Sheema. Sheema was thorough and professional. Stopping everything she was doing to deal with the emergency. Wrote me a referral, offered reassurance and gave guidance. She even called a week later to check what had happened with my eye; which is above and beyond.

I was so happy that I decided to visit this optician. Quite a number of people have expressed how pleased they were with the service there. I needed to purchase new glasses and I decided to have a chat with them. I am now the proud owner of a new pair of glasses. I highly recommend them. Update... This shop is in the process of transferring ownership and will reopen soon. The Opticians will reopen on the 2nd July 2019. I had a follow up appointment and I was very happy with the service and attention that I received from the new owners. They were professional and considerate of my needs, especially
